THIS WAS MY FIRST TO CORNWALL AND WHAT A LOVELY SITE WE CHOSE . DENNIS ,EILEEN AND THE FAMILY WERE PLEASANT AND VERY FRIENDLY. THE FACILITIES ON SITE WERE FIRST CLASS, CLEAN AND WARM.
THE VEIWS FROM THE SITE WERE EXCELLENT AND EVERY PLACE WE VISITED WAS WITHIN EASY REACH OF THE SITE.
WE ENJOYED SO MUCH WE HAVE NOW BOOKED TO STAY AGAIN IN OCTOBER.
MY BROTHER AND SOME OF HIS FAMILY ALSO STAYED IN SEPTEMBER AND THEY ALSO VOICED THERE APPRECIATION OF A FIRST CLASS SITE. THANKS.

I'm almost reluctant to review this lovely site - just in case it ends up being fully booked when we want to return. This is a beautifully kept site, run by delightful, friendly owners. The views over the bay are glorious and whilst Par and St Blazey are hardly holiday hotspots, it is extremely close to Eden Project, Charlestown, Lostwithiel and Fowey. The toilet block was immaculate, modern and included nice touches like a socket next to a mirror with a small shelf for campers to dry their hair. Dog walking field is big, close to the site and has great views - perfect for an early morning walk. I can hardly believe how cheap it was - I'm booking for a month next summer!

I have been going to this site now for about 3 years it is lovely and peaceful and the views are spectacular. Eileen and Dennis are both lovely people and make you feel very welcome. Shower block is great, very clean and the water lovely and hot. Highly recommended

This is a really great site. There is a very good toilet shower block which would put many bigger sites to shame, with good washing-up facilities and a washing/drying room, all kept very clean and plenty of hot water. The owners are very pleasant and helpful, and will do ice blocks if you ask them. There is plenty of space on site, which is well drained and not muddy - we had no problems at all even with quite a lot of rain. There's a pub and shop just down the hill (300 yds), and a bus stop. It's about a 15 minute walk to the entrance to the Eden Project, but then a further 15-20 minutes to get to the visitor centre where you actually go in! The road is narrow with no footpath and high banks and not really the safest walk, but there were few cars when we did it. All in all, a very good site with a very reasonable daily rate, which I strongly recommend.

Fantastic site, can't recommend it enough. Our car had broken down in St Austel so we were towed to this campsite by our recovery service. The owner offered us the use of one of his cars if ours wasn't fixed the next day. Luckily we didn't need to take up his offer. The facilities are clean and of a very high quality. A short walk to the local shop and Pub. Fantastic sea views. The Eden project is a pleasant walk and worth the exercise as you get in for less and quicjer as you stand in a different line to those who have come by coach trip or car.

We stayed here for almost a week in our new trailer tent (debut performance!) Despite torrential rain and strong winds we had a great time! The site is well spaced and has brilliant views. The toilets and showers were exceptionally clean and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. We would thoroughly recommend this site to all.

This was a lovely campsite with superb views over Par Bay. The owners were helpful, very polite and kept chickens! The toilet/shower facilities were new, clean and plentiful (with reading material in the ladies!). Eden project 15 minute walk, but if going to an evening session take a torch as the road can be very busy at night. At £12 a night this was by far the best value campsite we have stayed at and I would strongly recommend it.

We loved this site, the owners were lovely and friendly and very helpful, the toilets and showers were extremely clean with plenty of hot water, nice little laundry room too. Fantastic views, level pitches and just a short walk down the hill to local shops.

If you're planning to visit the Eden project, this is the nearest campsite, only 20 min walk away. If you walk or cycle to the Eden Project, there's a £3 discount on entrance fee.
The owners are very helpful with directions/maps/bus time table etc, they even made us a cup of tea. Plenty of hot showers, loos, basins available, very clean as well.
The campsite is 3 miles from Par train station, situated on a hill, with a beautiful view. 15 min walk to a secluded beach accessible by the coastal path.
