As most of the above reviews, I can also say that this is a pleasant enough site. The shower blocks were nice and clean and the clothes washing facilities were in place. They also provide a small freezer to freeze your ice blocks. The shop is small and has a (very) basic range of products and there is no clubhouse on site.
There is approx three quarter of a mile walk to the nearest pub (the station) and the nearest town in which to buy decent provisions is Gretna (approx 5 mile away).
As a minor point, I heard quite a few mumbles about the level of power you can draw from the EHU. The guy in the camper van next to me tripped the switch every time he tried to boil his kettle ! As I say, a pleasant enough place but I wouldn't go again.

August 2004 Family run site, they have thought of the little things that make a site special, blow up paddling pool for toddlers, gazebos and picnic benches, to name a few things. The owners went out of their way to make sure our stay was a good one. My only concerns would be the lack of clothes washing facilities, but this was being dealt with whilst we were there. Pitches on the lower field and overspill were on a slight hill. Only two showers in the ladies toilets but there was also two family rooms and a disabled bath and shower room. I'll be going back to this one as I can see this site going from strength to strength.

July 2004 This site is great. The staff are very helpful.we had our blessing here and they couldnot do enough for us. We will visit this site again without a doubt. The only problem we found with it was the fact we had to leave it behind. A defenete must to all campers.

16 July-25th July 2004 This is one of the best sites I have ever been on. Plenty of space, nice walks, toilets and showers very very clean and new. The staff Nadine and owners Jan are very nice people, and make you welcome and are also very helpful. They have a great park for the kids. The shop is well stocked. I would go back again
