Lovely flat site - well spaced out and generous sized pitches. Toilet / shower block looks brand new. Plenty of hot water - but wish they didn't have those 20 second timers on the showers.
The motorway noise is there - but its no more noticeable than any other road.
Make no mistake this is a lovely site, well kept and fairly full of tourers - which goes to show that a good site can be busy all year.
We thought it was reasonable priced to £14 for 2 with hookup up, showers included etc.
Taunton only a couple of miles away. Lovely shopping centre worth a walk around. The West Somerset Railway runs up to Minehead from just north of Taunton.
Overall a fabulous site -well placed for the M5 and we would recommend

What a lovely place - faultless.
Super flat pitches, amazing facilities that are thoroughly clean and maintained daily.
Really friendly wardens tha come round and have a chat several times a day.
We didn’t research enough about the area in advance and so just ended up going into Taunton for a wander around. There is a tourist trail that looks good.
Good shopping in Taunton and the site has good access to some supermarkets if you run out of supplies.
Quite a small site which is nice. Not a whole heap for children to do. It looks as though most of the site is reserved for pitches and not really for kicking a ball around - but you cant have it all.
Would research local area for some day trips and then would go back for sure !

What a fantastic site. Immaculate, well laid out, well kept grounds neat and tidy, with spotless facilities. The warden was extremely friendly and helpful, came out to greet us the second we arrived. We were placed at the furthest point from the main gate as we had children (nice thought). The pitches are generally level with only some needing a little levelling, the majority of which are hardstanding again immaculate. Warden informed us of a communal BBQ that evening all are welcome, you contribute to the food, bring your own drink and they cook it with a great atmosphere. Highly recommended if you need a site in the Taunton area either for short or long breaks. Will definitely be returning.

Stayed one night here. Beautiful open setting, large pitches. Good toilet block
The warden was very helpful. Lovely large orchard adjacent site to walk in.
The drawback was the noise from the M5 motorway ( I read the previous reviews and comments that the noise was not very noticeable )

Absolutely excellent! Lovely site with level hard standing pitches. The site is very well maintained and the owner lovely. The free wifi works really well and there is an excellent freeview signal. The shower and toilet block is always clean and the showers roomy, although we did find that the water temp was intermittent! Lovely big sinks are available in a sheltered area for washing up and there are laundry facilities. There is a free book exchange and a special disabled/family room. The motorway does produce a small amount of noise although your more likely to be disturbed by the occasional bleating from the sheep! This is a great site for access to nearby attractions and there is something for everyone, Fleet air arm, Haynes motor museum, and clarks village to name a few. The town of Taunton is quiet large and has a range of shops along with a Sainsburys. All in all an excellent site and very much recommended.

A lovely campsite, run by lovely people. We could only stop for one night during our Lands End to John O'Groats challenge but will definitely return for a longer stay as soon as the opportunity arises. Both the site and facilities are immaculate and the location is easily accessible and peaceful.
Mark and Sue, the proprietors, are are extremely helpful and absolutely delightful people. Many thanks to you both for your help and support.

Stayed at this site for three nights across Spring Bank Holiday weekend. What a gem of a site! Nice level site, which is kept in absolute immaculate order throughout. Site is adjacent to small farm where sheep and cattle graze, with beautiful uninterrupted countryside views. Toilets/shower block lovely and clean, with 'piped' music (nice touch we felt) Showers work on a 'push-button' timer which lasts around 30 seconds with water just the right temperature. Nice 'roomy' individual private showers with 'dry' area which also has small bench and hooks for clothing etc. This site is kept in lovely order by Mark & Sue, who could not be more helpful - very friendly and courteous, with plenty of time for all. Very reasonably priced site. We would just make one point, which relates to comments made by previous visitors with regard to 'motorway noise'. We felt that this was definitely not an issue, and feel that perhaps previous comments are being a little unfair in saying otherwise - lovely quiet and peaceful site with the occasional bleating from sheep & lambs, which we felt was 'sweet' This site in our opinion is definitely a 10/10 site - which Mark informed us was open all year round. We are now about to book again for a visit in August and will also come back again during Autumn / Winter period. Cannot really 'rate' 'child-friendliness' section as just my Husband and I visited, no children. Highly recommended.

Sites like this make you wonder if we really need the major camping clubs. Every detail is well thought out and kept in immaculate order. The location is ideal for visiting Taunton, especially the nearby racecourse, and for pleasant walking in the Blackdown hills. Others may want to take advantage of the 'Van Bitz' workshop right next door. When we visited, wi-fi was just being installed. We were told it will be free or at just a nominal fee (Caravan Club please note!).
Disadvantages? We wouldn't agree the site is 'quiet' since the busy M5 is just yards away, though in a cutting. The noise is not intrusive in winter, with doors and windows shut, but this isn't a site we'd choose for lazing outside in summer. Nor is it as convenient for the M5 as its proximity would suggest, since Junctions 25 and 26 both require some navigation through Taunton streets. Nevertheless, overall, this is a truly excellent site.

The site was excellent, The wardens, Ian and Jane Morton, were really helpful and friendly. We had got ourselves a little lost, due to our sat nav telling us to go the wrong way and Ian came out to find us. A true knight in shining armour (rare these days). We now have a site brochure with accurate directions.
Despite the rain, Jane welcomed us with a hot cup of coffee each and a smile while Ian helped us set up.
The bathrooms were were immaculate at all times, in spite of a rally going on at the same time.
Will we use Cornish Farm again? Most definitely, for longer next time, but only when all the children are at school.

I would reiterate what everyone else has to say. This is an excellent small site and is perfectly situated for exploring Somerset as well as into Devon and Dorset. Shower block is very clean and comfortable and Classic FM is now a favourite at bath time!
Pubs in Taunton don't welcome children as they've had problems locally in the past. However, we found the perfect pub at Corfe (about 3 miles away). The White Hart had everything, excellent beer / real ale and, the food.! The best chips ever. The owners were very welcoming too.
