The site was very clean and well maintained but to be expected as it had only just opened. The shower and toilet facilities were excellent. We would have spent more time on the site had there been a play area for the children. The site lacked charisma. That said the site is ideally located if used as a base to travel Somerset/North Devon.

Cannot fault this site in any way. Warm welcome and site staff very understanding when car trouble enforced our stay for an extra night. Site very clean and very level with individual hook ups and utilities for each hard standing and some grass pitches. Excellent family/disabled room and exceptionally clean, well maintained and designed loo/shower facilities.
Will definitely return to this site as it makes a very convient stop over for our trips down to Cornwall.

Just come back from here after an excellent bank holiday weekend. It was our first time camping but this site had excellent toilet and shower facilities although does lack a play area for the kids. The wardens were excellent and very helpful, and the site very clean and good flat pitches. Would definitely go back!!!

We have just returned home after spending the August bank holiday down at Cornish farm. The site is fantastic nice and clean as you would expect from a new site. The family/disabled room is nice and big easly fitted 2 adults and 2 chlidren in. We think they would benefit from a small play area for the kids. Also could do with a better equipped shop and tourist infomation as it was are first time down there and didnt know all of what was down there

What a great site, clean, friendly and well located for visiting the area. The site is quite new and this shows the toilets are spotlessly clean and the underground heating was excellent. As its new it was very quite, for 2 nights just us!! It does need a play area to help keep the kids amused but apart from that I couldn't fault the place. All pitches are well drained and level. The wardens are really nice people and I wish them and the owner every success with the site. I will be going back quite often.

An excellent site with first class facilities. Seemed a shame to use them as they were so spotless! The site is about 2 miles from the centre of Taunton and you can walk in using quiet roads and off-road cycle/pedestrian paths. To cycle from the site would be wonderful as you are straight onto the small lanes that criss-cross the area. There are lots of hard standings for motorvans and caravans as well as grassy areas for tents, all with hook-up points. Picnic tables are provided around the site and there is a small shop at the entrance. We only stayed one night as we were just having an alarm fitted to our van, but this is definitely one to return to for a bit longer stay.

My partner and I came back from the Continent at the end of March after spending 2 months touring France, Spain, Gibraltar and Portugal.
As we were having such wonderful weather in May we decided to spend some time around Somerset and booked in at Cornish Farm for a couple of weeks on the recommendation of another couple of senior citizens who had stayed there.
In all honesty, we can say that Cornish Farm offers the best facilities we have ever encountered during the considerable number of years we have been touring.
Their pitches are level, no trees to obstruct access to the pitch, hard standing for the RV with a grassed area alongside for you to sit out under your awning, water and electricity points available on each pitch, and the services are second to none, ie
Wonderfully clean toilets and showers, washing machine and dryer facilities, and a washing up area easily accessible from anywhere on the site.
What we did find so marvelous from sites we have stayed on before during our many travels, was the ability to 'flip the switch' ourselves if the power went off and the nearness of a water tap. How many of you have had to put up with no power late at night because no-one was available until the next morning, or had to connect several water hoses together to enable you to reach water (even had to borrow an extra hose from a neighbour). How may toilets have you been in that haven't been cleaned, no toilet paper, no hand wash, no dryer, etc.
There were sites on the Continent earlier this year that we wouldn't have stayed at even if we were paid to. It was early in the year when one would expect a site to be cleaner than in later months when many more people have used the facilities. Not so! Some were simply disgusting.
However, we can, and do, recommend wholeheartedly Cornish Farm Camping Site. There is plenty to do around Somerset and you are not far from picturesque Brixham, Dartmouth, Dartmoor, Torquay and many, many more interesting and delightful places to visit, all within easy reach of Cornish Farm in Taunton.
Happy camping to all you wonderful people who enjoy staying at a clean, well run site.
