We stayed at this site for 2 nights as a break in the driving down to Cornwall.
It is easy to access from the M5 and and is a lovely site. We arrived late afternoon and details of the pitch were on the notice board at reception. Later the warden came over to check we were ok and welcomed us to the site - a nice gesture. We were also immediately made to feel welcome by nearby motorhomers.
There are no nearby pubs within easy walking distance but a 2.5 mile walk on the Sunday took us across the fields to the nearby village of Trull and to the Crown Inn (dogs welcome inside).
All the facilities were spotless - the cleanest and nicest shower/toilet block I've used yet with piped Classic FM!and excellent disabled access.
There is also a small laundry room and a free book swop with all the local tourist info at hand.
At the reception there is also the usual motorhome stuff for sale e.G. Toilet fluids should you need them.
I would give this site 9.5 out of 10 - .5 off for the background buzz of the M5

We arrived on Tuesday 8th of July for a 5 night stay. We had to cut the stay short though and return home on Thursday 10th due to a family illness, just my luck. This is a great site and is perfectly placed as a stop over for the trek to the west country and is just off of the M5 at Taunton. The 50+ pitches all have EHU AND are all level, the toilet block is one of the cleanest I have seen 'with piped background music as well!, very chilling'.
The site is quiet and out of the way from the main town so not really children friendly though and no play area. This suits me fine.
The traffic noise from the M5 can be heard but not in an obtrusive way though and you get used to it very quickly.
Will be visiting again soon.

What a great site, spacious, friendly, clean toilets / facilities. We had terrible weather, but it didn't matter, we go away to chill out if we get sun its great if we don't 'whatever'
The noise from road did not worry me, when I go camping as long as the site is clean, facilities good, I'm happy. When we were there there was a huge winebago staying and we quite enjoyed watching the performance to get it out, they did it, but be warned very tight bend for Winebagos at entrance.

Just returned from Easter visit. This is a little gem of a site. Very clean and excellent facilities. As already stated there is some motorway noise but that was only Friday night and Saturday morning. Not a problem. Very helpful site warden (helped to fix collapsed jockey wheel). This is probably a site best suited to adults as there are no facilities for children. Plenty of pubs serving food not very far away. We feel this is a little piece of heaven not that far from home. Will certainly be going again to chill out.

We were traveling down to The Lizard in Cornwall, from Great Yarmouth and as this is a very long drive we decided to stop over at Cornish Farm, Taunton. We arrived there very late (2.00 am). We could not believe how nice the site was. Even in the dark we could see well kept grass, gravel pitches, and a beautiful shower / toilet / laundry / book swap block in the centre on the site.
We setteled in for the night and in the morning the very friendly site warden came to see us to check everything was ok. She wasnt there just to get our money (like some sites make you feel). She took us to the office and we did the paper work, and only had to pay £12.00 for the night (which I feel is very reasonable). Her husband was also very friendly, and made us feel very welcome. I recomend a trip down to Cornish Farm, just to see for yourself how nice the site and people are.

This is easily the best kept site we have ever stayed at, the facilities are all brand new and utterly immaculate. The showers are free and always hot, and there are plenty of hook-up points.
The owners are very friendly, which makes Cornish Farm very recommendable.

Visited this site over the August Bank Holiday. Just got back! Found this a very pleasant and clean site. The toilet and shower block was spotless, cleaned regular. Site in general very clean even though dogs are allowed, as this usually puts me off a site. Owners very polite and helpful. If we had any queries, they were more than willing to help. We have 3 children, ages from 4 to 12, all were pleased with the site, they enjoyed helping the owners clean up all the fallen apples. Even tho close to the M5, after a while you don't seen to hear the traffic. Did not visit any pubs to advise on, but town centre not far. We did walk to the near by park, but was disappointed as not a lot there. I believe that there is room for a small play area for children, and also would be an idea to maybe have some food basics in the shop on site. Very happy all in all, and would recommend to anyone, and will hopefully be returning next year.

We have just returned after staying 2 nights at cornish farm. What a fantastic clean and immaculate site. The owners were so kind and helpful. Toilets and showers were immaculate. Prices were very reasonable also for august. A couple of points though, there is no play area for children and because of this the campsite lacked atmosphere. Also the constant drone of the m5 spoilt any peace and tranquility that there might have been.

As novice RV motorhomers this was a fantastic site for us. We arrived late on a Sunday evening, and found our pitch number on a notice board at the entrance.Very thoughtful. However, within seconds of us pulling up, the warden came running over to greet us, and asked if we'd had a pleasant journey.Even more thoughtful! The warden was extremely welcoming and helpful, especially given the late hour. Good points: The pitches were level and easily accessible. The toilet/shower block was superb; very spacious and even during peak season it was clean and fully resourced. The site is in 20 mins walking distance of a mini-market, Post Office and butcher's, and you pass a little children's park on the way. It's a short drive to the town centre and to the M5 motorway. Bad points: Only a few minor niggles. You can hear some motorway noise, which didn't bother me or the kids in the slightest. No play area on site, but there is a small one ten minutes walk away. We were pitched next to one of the low level lights, which lit up the back bedroom. Not the end of the world, but must invest in some heavier curtains! Motorhomes staying for less than 3 nights must pay a charge for emptying black waste; I thought this was fair enough and it wasn't a problem for us. Overall: The good points far outweigh the few minor bad points, and we will definitely visit again. We used this site as a stopover on the way to Cornwall, but next time will stay for longer. There are lots of attractions in this area, and Taunton has good bus and rail links.

We visited this site for 3 nights on our route to our 2 week holiday in South Devon. The site was easy to locate with good signage from the main road. The site is made up of mainly hard standing pitches that were very level and quite spacious too. There were wooden picnic benches dotted around the site that could be used outside the caravan and we found this very useful at meal times with a large family. Toilet blocks and facilities were excellent and very clean at all times. Within a short drive from the site there is a Sainsbury's and an Asda supermarket if you need to do a large shop other than that there was a One Stop shop and a local butchers on the main road that had all we needed. There are a few good pubs near by serving good local food and the centre of Taunton is only a short drive away too that has many restaurants. We found a very warm welcome on this superbly run site and we will definitely return here on a stop over again. There is noise that can be heard coming from the M5 but nothing that would spoil your stay here.
