 Stayed for 3 nights over Bank Holiday weekened. Site is in excellent rural location, with 360 degrees of glorious views yet only 20 mins drive to Hereford & Ross-on-Wye. The only noise that could be heard was the odd tractor and the bleeting of sheep in the adjacent fields. Although not important to to us the campsite does not have a shop, but in the mornings we were offered fresh eggs and sausage. The nearest convenience store is 3 miles away. The nearest pub is in Orcop Hill about 1.5 miles away.
Facilities were brand new with free hot showers - 2 male, 2 female - although no changing area, so had to be careful when getting dressed so as not to drop your clothes in the shower cubicle.
I would certainly recommend this site, if like us, you're looking for a quiet site with good facilities and an excellent backdrop. It's not for those looking for a clubhouse, evening entertainment etc. Would definitely stay again.
