Hafod Farm Camp Site is situated in a lovely location, perfect for children. The owners Jo and Pete are very friendly and really welcome everyone. Facilities are good as well as the coffee shop, also fresh eggs, we had a great time! We are very pleased and will be back again soon. Thanks Peter and Jo.

Hafod Farm Camp Site is situated in a lovely location with uninterrupted views of the surrounding hills. Owners Jo and Pete are very friendly and really went the extra mile to help us - freezing ice blocks and charging our phones etc. Campsite facilities are brand new and now include a really nice coffee shop. The site is also dog friendly. Thoroughly recommended and we'll be back!

Our family have just returned from a weekend at Hafod Farm in Snowdonia. I had to write and say what a great time we had (despite the weather)
The site is small and perfectly positioned for the best views of the tree covered mountains of the valley. It was quiet and had everything we needed: hot showers, clean toilets, lovely strong coffee from the cafe and homemade chocolate cake to die for. We decided not to attempt Snowdon due to the weather but were quite happy to try the many local walks from Betws-y-Coed and the kids had a lot of fun on the high ropes course, just a walk away.
Our welcome and attention from the owners was second to none, information on local places, history of the buildings at the farm which is really stunning.Especially the old barn cafe. A lot of time and effort has obviously gone into the restoration of these buildings.
There's a very good restaurant up the road called 'Ty Gwyn' where we had a great meal on Saturday night and the food and service were great. Sunday lunch at the stables in Betws y coed was good value and child friendly.
We have booked to go camping again in August and can't wait to see the baby chicks that the hens are sitting on. We also hope that Pete will have the roof on the new cottages by then as we would like to stay in one of them next year.Hurry up Pete, we can't wait!
Many thanks and see you soon

Me and my partner visited this site with our first caravan. An adventure in itself, and we are so glad we found Hafod and Peter and Jo after our small incident with the fence post!
A small but not claustrphobic, very clean, wonderfully located site. Amazing views, in sunshine and rain! Fantastically kept grass, for tents and caravans, easy access to fresh water, clean toilet and shower block, (easy to find when you forget your torch!)
Dog friendly, our 2 little ones made friends, and sensible owners keep it clean and tidy.
Quiet site, and very friendly for all ages.
You are at one with nature, sheep grazing quietly in the next field, cute fluffy chickens following you around!
They also have a stunning house and cottage for rent, absolutley stunning inside.
Coffee shop is within a stunning 16th century barn and Pete has done so much to make it all so amazing, well done! I would very much like to have my wedding here.
We didnt want to leave, and are going back again next week! Its on the doorstep to North Wales main villages and the coast, and even the high ropes course is across the road if your brave (we know Jo was!) an ideal base for seeing the sights!.
We have told all our friends and family, and as it's so close to home, only 1.5 hours from Manchester, it's our new retreat in the country.
Well done Peter and Jo. We're hooked!

Myself and girlfriend have just returned from staying the weekend.
I cannot praise the site enough, it had everything we were looking for. Clean toilets and shower, fantastic views, brilliant location (right in the middle of betws y coed and llanrwst), and more importantly Jo and Peter (the owners) were very hospitable. Peter even jump-started our car for us one morning, both very nice people.
Overall, a very nice campsite in a lovely relaxing setting with everything you need. I'll be making another visit in the summer.

Had five nights on this site, toilets clean and tidy, and one shower per loos but it was never a problem, there is not a park, but the kids can explore in the woods and there's a small field to play in at the bottom. The site has a very relaxing feel to it, the views are lovely, the coffee shop is brilliant, and you must get some of the fresh eggs!
There were 17 of us in our group with kids from 1 year to 15 years, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again.

Pros - Location, mountain views, easy access, helpful and friendly owners, reasonably priced, all pitches near as makes a difference flat, spotless wash / toilet facilities.
Cons - One water point, no chem disposal point, limited washing / toilet facilities (but plans are in place to remedy this), no kids play area.
Just back from 4 nights at this site and what a hidden gem. The site has only been open since April 08 and Joanne and Peter have done a great job setting up a cracking site. Fantastic location 5 minute drive from Betws with it's numerous shops pubs and walks.
There's 18 EHU pitches (all 16 amp) and loads more non electric pitches (it says 30 above but theres more than that). All pitches are grass and nice and flat, the site is really well drained and after the monsoon on Wednesday was dry again by the next day.
Theres only one shower per sex, two toilets for the girls and one toilet plus two urinals for the boys but the owners are planning to extend the facilities. There are dish washing facilities available and a laundry room which are all free to use. You do have to pay £1 for a ten minute shower though. Theres no kids play area but our mob were quite happy running wild and playing games on the grass. You can see the toilets from your pitch so we were quite happy letting the kids have a bit of independence and taking themselves off when they needed to knowing they couldn't disappear off anywhere.
This site has a lovely feel to it. Swallows swooping around, chickens wandering in and out, mountains to the rear and sheep to the side. Joanne and Peter cant do enough for you and the OH says you have to try the home-made cakes in the coffee shop on site. Well worth a visit we'll be going back again.
