A peaceful and green site with trees and open spaces. The showers were basic but kept pretty clean and even on a Bank Holiday weekend at half term I never queued! Hot water for washing up and hand washing of laundry free, token operated washing machine and tumble drier.
Quite the best stocked shop we have ever come across on such a small site with all the usual bits and pieces, also camping spares, notebooks, toys etc.
Piece de resistance has got to be the fresh croissants available daily!!
On the down side: Our strong advice would be to send the sae to get written confirmation of your booking, as we arrived after a three hour drive to be told that they had no record of our booking, despite having cashed the cheque. Thankfully space was found for us, but we did have to move our entire set-up from one pitch to another after one night.
A peaceful site with a lovely walk into Wareham along the river, and good as a base for exploring the beautiful Isle of Purbeck. Would definitely recommend this as a nice site for people, especially with young children.

We found this site to be very out of the way & therefore peaceful from this aspect. We found the showers & toilets rather old & shabby, with a drain running through all the showers. The site charges were quite cheap so I guess you get what you pay for.

We have just returned from a fantastic 9 days at Ridge Farm.
This a friendly well run quiet site.
Staff were very helpful - we found the facilities absolutely fine ( they reflect the price charged ) - plenty of hot water and I did not have to queue once either for showers or washing up.
We were most impressed by the owners who literally sprinted after anyone who dared play loud music on their site !
This was the quietist campsite we have ever stayed on with plenty of safe room for the kids to play.
We came away feeling thoroughly relaxed.
The location is great too - we will be going back.
