Very friendly welcome by site wardens - directed us to our pitch and offered to help us push our van into situ, but we declined this offer and reversed in as normal. Toilet and shower block was new and was immaculate every time I went in.
They had a dog shower outside which is a fantastic idea - why don't all sites have these. Brilliant dog walk along the loch where dogs could be let off their leads for a run.
Reception also doubled up as a shop which sold the basics. Very well stocked information barn and a large camping barn which I can imagine is very welcoming to campers who want a bit of respite from the rubbish british weather.
Only slight niggle (apart from the constant rain) is that you can only use green toilet fluid and as we didn't have this colour had to buy some from site. Might be a good idea to mention this in C&C brochure so you could be prepared. Apart from this,no complaints at all.

This is one of the best campsites we have stayed on. The facilities were spotless, managers and staff very friendly and helpful. New shower block, with washbasin cubicles.
Well stocked shop. Had a night in the POD which was really comfy and campbeds were in the POD available if we needed them. Stunning location and a nice quiet site.
We will definitely be going back. We were lucky to see a Sea Eagle when walking around Portree. The boat trip from Dunvegan Castle to see the seals is well worth the money.

A great site in a beautiful location. We arrived very late due to a delayed ferry, and the whole team were so helpful, ensuring that we could find everything to set up in time for bed. Spotlessly clean showers, plenty of space on pitch, and good view of the loch. Dog walk by waters edge was a real bonus. Well stocked shop - groceries, guides & souvenirs, shame we had to leave in a bit of a rush. We can't comment on the child friendliness, as no children camping with us, but the loch was far enough away, and fenced off securely, Pods looked great fun, especially for children.

We are members of the CCC and decided to use this site as a stop over en-route to Harris and Lewis. Lovely site with great location by the loch and as mentioned, the new toilets are immaculate.
Now the bad bit.We decided to try out the camping pods. £37 per night but hey, we were on holiday. They are advertised in the CCC brochure as coming with camp beds supplied. We were told after paying, that there were no beds. Luckily we had inflatable beds with us so we were lucky. Then to add insult to injury, at about nine o'clock that night, the other pod's campers arrived. I had sneaked a peak inside and there was one bed in there when we arrived. Ten minutes later, the camp attendant came walking down to the pod with another! I asked them about this in the morning as we checked out and was told that they were optional and we should have been asked if we needed them. I pointed out that the advert clearly states they are provided and that we were not happy to see a bed being provided after we were told there were none available. Shame, as the site is really nice. We will be writing to the CCC to tell them about the bed issue.

A very well run site with wonderful views. Toilet and shower block fantastic very modern and spotlessly clean, inside pot washing which is great if the weathers bad, and good laundry facilities, only downside they close from 10.30-12noon on the dot for cleaning. Well stocked shop with phone box outside as no signal for mobiles
This site is on a working farm and it was great to see Highland cattle and rare breeds of sheep. Would highly recommend this site

Lovely site, would really recommend it, very friendly helpful people. Views stunning. Toilet block and showers very clean at all times. Dog wash is something we havent encountered before, luckily we didn't have to use it as the weather was great, but very useful extra. We booked for two nights initially then booked a further night. Will definitely visit again.
Visited Dunvegan Castle and the Talisker distillary, also took trip to Uig, all worth a visit. Returning to the main land via the ferry is well worth it.

This was our 3rd visit to this site. Warm and friendly welcome as usual. Stayed 5 nights, weather lovely (no wind or rain). The new toilet and shower block (with underfloor heating) are a great improvement to the site and are finished to a very high standard. There are lots more hard standings with uninterrupted views of the loch and mountains.

What a lovely site & a warm welcome. Everything is clean & tidy & well up to normal Camping & Caravanning Club standards for their sites. One of the biggest pluses is the underfloor heating in the shower & toilet block. These were always immaculate every time I went in.
The view from near enough every pitch is of the loch & the the hard standings are all terraced so that you get an unobstructed view. The only problem I had was I did not read the club handbook that advises TV reception is non existent without a satellite dish, oh well good job I had my radio. No mobile phone signal either, stops work or anyone from trying to call you. Apart from that a really good relaxing site

Lovely site with nice views and excellent brand new facilities. The staff were helpful and friendly making for a pleasant and tranquil stay.
The toilet block is particularly nice and very clean, with the only downside for me being the non-adjustable push-button showers. These are a personal dislike of mine, mostly because they always seem to be set hotter than I'd like, as was the case here. My wife and son on the other hand like their showers really hot so liked these ones a lot.

we rang the site and ask if we could come early, they were full but they managed to find a space for us,
The owner is friendly, and is always helpful. He is on site from 8am to after 10pm the views are stunning, and toilets are clean, and good washing up area. It rained most of the time we were there, which was 11 days, but this is scotland, and the slye of skye.
We loved it. Will be back 2010 god willing,
Dunvegan is lovely and there is a home bakery in the village. Plenty to do.
