September 2004 September 2004 – Toilet block spotlessly clean. - Level hardstandings for motorhomes Electric is via a card fed into meter – paid £1.50 for the card and didn’t need to purchase another. We stayed for 3 nights. An excellent location just past the railway station on the edge of Aviemore. 5 - 10 minute walk to main shopping area including Tesco store. Spoilt for choice if you’re eating out or don’t want to cook. Recommend a return ride on the Steam Railway to Broomhill (Glenbogle) - 2 hour trip You can have Sunday lunch on board – other evening offers, pick up a leaflet. For a single ticket at half price to Boat of Garten you can also take your bikes and ride the 8 miles back (+£1 for bikes) easy to follow track, rough in places, mainly follows the railway line ‘Spey Way’.
