We spent the weekend here What a great site. The owners could not be more helpful and they are a very very friendly family. One of our priorities is the site has to be dog friendly and this one was certainly that. Fantastic dog walks in all directions. The showers were immaculate. There was only 2 in the ladies plus the disabled/family one but I never had to queue and the site was nigh on full when we were there. An easy walk to the village 5 mins max where you will find the bank, a hotel and a grocery shop. The shop doesn't stock much and was expensive but we only needed milk and bread. We headed to Biggar (12 miles) to do a food shop in the Co-op supermarket. Biggar is a beautiful town worth a visit. We will certainly use this site again

We have just enjoyed our two night stay at the park. The welcome was friendly and informative. The pitch was good, firm and level. The site was pleasant, spacious, tidy and clean. The showers can be recommended, clean, modern and spacious. A quiet site, not really catering for children. Suited us fine. Trains fairly frequent but from our pitch not intrusive in the van. We look forward to staying here again in the near future.

A very clean and well looked after site, shower was hot, phew! No idots about so made for a quiet couple of days apart from a couple of trains. Site was good and level for setting up my tent. I ended up in Lanark for the lanimers, did not get back till late Thurs night. Got up early Fri Morning, not a soul about and did not want to wake anyone so put money threw letter box. A very nice lady. Would use again.

Had an enjoyable overnight here. Although a popular site there was plenty space. Facilities clean including the showers. Friendly owners, no hassle and we were able to take the dogs for a long walk. Ideal stop over for the beautiful town of Biggar as well as the market town of Moffat. Would stay again.

Lovely site. Quiet, great views. Some noise from the M74 motorway across the valley and next to the railway line but did not disturb the peace. Very clean amenities - well maintained. Good local shop, cafe-bistro and hotel. Lovely village. Laid back staff. Recommended - we will visit again.

We (2 adults) stayed for 3 nights in a tent with electric hookup (£13.50pn). The site was lovely and well kept - the owners were friendly. The toilet block was clean and the showers were nice (no extra charge). We cycled for miles on a path running parallel with the M74 which started just metres from the site. There is a nice little village shop just a few minutes away. The only down side for us was that the site is right next to the main train line connecting Scotland and England, and the trains thundered past until 3am on our first night (Friday) making it difficult to sleep. Saturday night wasn't bad as they stopped early evening, and Sunday was ok. Other than that I would be happy to visit the site again ;-)

Great site. Stayed there for 2 nights.
Felt relatively secluded even though fairly close to the M74 and railway line. Quiet tracks for walking, dogs allowed as long as kept on lead.
Excellent toilet and shower facilities plus family room. Plenty hot water.
Small play park and shallow stream. (Bring spare shoes for the kids.)
Owners friendly and helpful.

Good site - nice toilets and showers - proper trays. Not many pitches - nice and quiet. Cost £17.50 for four with elec. There is now a playpark - not massive but the kids enjoyed it - a good stopover place if you are on the way north. Recommend - owners very nice and have an os map of the area!

Well kept little site, lovely views of the surrounding hills, good, quiet tracks/roads for walking and cycling. Showers hot and toilet facilities kept very clean. Village shop has everything! Well just about everything! Site could do with a play area for childen... nothing for them to do. We will be back.
