We booked 15 minutes s prior to arriving.
We were met by Fiona, she was very welcoming and helpful.
We were 1st time campers and Fionas son helped us out with electricity and WiFi.
The site was very clean and well tended,
Toilets and showers were immaculate.
We will definitely be back.

Nice little site in beautiful surroundings.
A friendly & helpful welcome despite the rain!
Pitches a little small but facilities were clean & well maintained.
COuld benefit from an allocated dog walking area as the space is available.
Would visit again :-)

Prompt reply to enquiry. Unfriendly reception on site.
Not given a proper pitch, just parked on a bit of grass.
Overpriced, one adult on grass with hook up £35.
Filthy shower, light keeps going off whilst in shower.
Whole shower/toilet block could do with updating.
Good location for a stopover as just off the M74, the compromise for that is that you hear traffic noise but not enough to prevent a good night of sleep.

Stayed here for 1 night as a stopover on our way into Scotland.
Very conveniently located a short distance off the M74 and Abington Services.
It is a fairly large site of mixed static, residential and touring 'vans.
The facilities a reasonable but toilets and showers are in separate blocks.
Mobile and 4g signals were OK but we could get no TV signal.
Pricing was not excessive for a Hard Standing with electric.

Can't praise the site or the hospitality and help given not only by the owners but the other campers who after a broken tent pole lent us a new tent for 5 days erected and told us to leave it when we left and they would take it down
100% the best ever
Can't recommend it enough many thank to Tom

Have stayed here a number of times over the last few years and have always had a good stay.
Nice campsite with good local shop, About a mile away is local services with plenty of good food options.
Some train noise but it never bothered me.

Really handy for adding an extra night. The site is really pet friendly.
The site is clean and tidy.
Although you only 30 minute’s from Glasgow, you are right up in the wilds of the mountains.

Great location with panoramic views of the hills and peace and quiet (except occasional trains - but after a while, you tune them out)
The owners are lovely and happy to help with any questions. The on-site toilets are the usual you expect from a campsite - kept very clean.
For a tent, the pitching area is totally flat with close access to toilets and showers, and you can park next to your tent.
The showers are the only thing that let the site down. For the ladies, there are 2 and they're the push button style so not on for long.
The temperature isn't adjustable and very hot (for red-head skin) and the showerhead is very small so with thick curly hair, it would have taken me a long time to wash it and I just about tolerated the heat to wash.
The auto light also goes off after 5 minutes and the only way to activate it again is to step fully out of the shower.
The local shop is only a 10-minute walk away and they have all the basics.
The site would be a full 10 out of 10 if it wasn't for the showers.

Stayed on route back to returning campervan.
Basic facilities glad we only stayed one night.
Trains passing all night kept us awake.
Toilets and showers were kept clean.
