- Owners are very friendly and accommodating - Facilities are simple yet effective, for example there is a fridge, microwave, piping hot water, shower, bike washing facilities available. - Fires are permitted in halved beer barrels, which are provided. Wood is sourced from the farms 20 acres of woodland or can be bought cheaply. - The area itself is picturesque with many walks, treks, rides nearby into the hills or woods. A river also runs through the site. A good base camp. Shops, bank, petrol are within sort drive. - It should be remembered that this is a 'working' farm and as such common sense should prevail around machinery, animals etc. - There is potential to do more of a 'wild' camp by the river or in the woodland but I would suggest you speak to Ian, the owner, as he knows the good and bad pitches at different times of year. - A superb site with no attitude or worries. We felt relaxed and welcomed throughout our visit. We will definitely go back when we are in the area again.

Excellent site. Owners could not have been more helpful. Toilets and showers very clean. We were made very welcome and only the torrential rain and the proximity of a warm dry house sent us home slightly earlier than planned. Ideal for those who enjoy the peace and quiet.
We will visit again.

I have been to this site a few times now and adore its quiet relaxed atmosphere. The owners are very friendly and helpful and listen to any suggestions you may have about improvements. The site is an exellent place if you like wildlife as there is plenty around not to mention some fantastic walks and scenery. It is not a very large site but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in character.

A great campsite. We stayed over the bank holiday weekend & every one seemed to enjoy themselves, ideal site if visiting Afan Forest (will take MTB's next time) Very friendly & helpful owners. I have already recommended this site to camping friends & will be going back.
I recommend following directions on their website if towing a caravan, with the addition of phoning before entering the lane to check if a caravan is leaving as the road is single track..

July 2004 We stayed for a few days last year, the owners were very friendly and helpful and the site had all the facilities we needed for our stay, which were all well maintained and very clean.
We were a little unsure what to expect, having never stayed on a working farm before, but would definitely recommend it to anyone camping in the Swansea area.

June 2003 Very nice place, friendly people, in fact the facilities were brilliant in comparison to other farm sites we've stayed at and I think we were spoilt. On the downside they didn't have a shower so we didn't stay as long as we would have but the owners said they'd be fitting one over summer.
