Great time spent at this site. Lovely clean toilets and showers. Close enough to the beach to walk(about 2 miles)Mary and Frank are perfect hosts and the tea room and shop mean you don't have to travel for basic supplies.
Great home made meals at reasonable prices are provided by Mary and Frank makes a mean pot of tea.
Hope to spend lots of time 2008.

My family spent a week at this site and found Frank & Mary the couple who run the site very friendly & very helpful in all respects. The site was kept in good order as were the shower blocks being cleaned twice daily. We will revisit the site next year to be welcomed by the friendly atmosphere and the convenience of not having to cook all the time as the tea room & service is excellent.

Welcoming, family-friendly small site on National Trust owned farm, with marked pitches around edge of single field. Small shop, free freezer block service and some childrens toys provided. Toilets clean and free solar-powered showers were almost too hot. No yobs and no excessive noise. Reasonable price. About a mile from the eastern end of Exmouth seafront; town has all usual facilities. Recommended.

At £4 ppn including showers this was the cheapest of the South Devon sites we stayed at on our walking trip and was only about a mile from the seafront at Exmouth. It had a good lawn and a shop selling tinned goods. The showers were solar-heated, were clean enough and in a pleasant block, but were disappointingly luke-warm.
The site was occupied mainly by young families who used the large central lawn for ball games. Advance booking is insisted on.
