Arrived around 1pm to be greeted by staff and given thorough instructions and taken to our pitch. Pitch was level and well serviced ( P No. 4 )
Easy access to Electric and water, waste was a little further away than normal so had to use extended waste pipes. Toilets were open, showers not open. Lots of COVID stuff.
This is a very quite site within an easy drive from Jcn 37 M6.
Very friendly staff, Lots of lovely farm animals sounds, would we go again. Definitely.

Return visit after 12 years, site in a fabulous location, well kept and as an adult only site ideal for relaxing, we had glorious weather and got some sun bathing in.
Situated for the lakes and north yorkshire for visiting various places, as much as we love the lake district so do many others so we avoid in the summer months and sunny days, to old for all that traffic.
Visited hawes and had the best fish and chips from The Chippie.
We will return again in a flash
Enjoy

This is a great little campsite. It is very convenient for journeys on the M6. It is very quiet and there are beautiful views of the surrounding area from the campsite.
The owner is very friendly and welcoming. We had the best free Wi-Fi of any campsite we've stayed on.
The showers are very good. We had a water tap on our pitch and there was a grey waste and chemical disposal point on site.
The only down side was that we couldn't find a grate to drive over to let out our grey waste water.

This is a haven of peace and is only a few minutes from Junction 37 of the M6 motorway. It is an adults only small site and is also just a 10 minute drive from Kendal and the gateway to the Lake District.
The hardstanding pitches are well placed around the site to benefit from the extensive views of the surrounding countryside and are fully serviced with water, electricity and waste outlet.
There is a small immaculate facilities unit with wc and shower provision (including disabled) which is kept in pristine condition.
This site is ideal for an overnight stop on the journey but also well worth an extended stay to explore the area.

Loved this site, small, quiet in beautiful countryside. It has all the facilities you need.
The owner Val was very helpful. Plenty of hand sanitiser around the site. Also an area for your dog.
We hope to go back.

A lovely, very peaceful well laid out site for adults only with great views of the surrounding rolling countryside. For getting around the Lakes area the site is perfectly located only minutes from the M6 with easy driving to Lakes Windermere, Ambleside and Coniston with Morecambe Bay, Barrow in Furness and Ulverston all within an easy driving distance. The only small minus is the lack of a shop nearby. Kendal is 7 miles and the nearest shop for milk, bread etc about 6 miles.
The Toilet Block facilities were kept very clean and fresh. Only a small block but as there is only 25 pitches this did not present a problem. All pitches are levelled and fully serviced which at £25. 00 per night I personally felt was very good value for money.
It was lovely to meet the site owner, Valerie, who regularly walked round making sure guests were ok and making all felt welcome. On arrival we were met by Valerie's daughter who showed us the barrier operating system which is by a code and gave us the details we needed. We were then handed over to Fred who was very happy to show us onto our pitch and help make sure all was ok.
This is one I will be more than happy to return to.
