We couldn’t fault this site in any way. Beautiful and immaculately kept. The owner Val was very pleasant and we can’t praise this site enough.
We will be returning next year

Come to the lakes and listen to hedge trimmers and lawnmowers
The site is lovely or would be if he'd just stop mowing and trimming.
Mostly caravans with own facilities so not many using on site facilities
Edit
I have to upgrade my last review, since the mowing stopped on Monday, it's been nothing but peace and quiet and open air.
The campsite was upgraded during lockdown, it has great WiFi, decent size pitches all with water and drainage, electricity is now 16 amp.
Site owners are superb. The site is remote, an hour's walk to nearest pub if you want that.
Forget trying to get anywhere in August, every town, village anywhere near lake is full. And the roads are busy, so this site becomes a haven, only a couple of miles from M6 but you can hear no noise.

Lovely site, very quiet, away from any major town/city. Only 4 miles into Kendall.
Staff very welcoming and a well cared for site.
Very clean facilities and well organised considering the virus problems.

Countryside location, very tidy clean site. Small but very clean toilet and shower facilities. Every step taken for cleaning under the current covid-19 circumstances.
Val (the owner) very helpful greeted us as soon a possible with some Kendal mint cake and came to see us the night before departure.
Piped water and waste to every pitch at no extra charge! excellent.
Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful little site, easily reached from the M6. Have never stayed on such a quiet site, no traffic noise, just the sound of sheep, a few cows and the farmer in the next field training his sheepdogs. Scenery is lovely.
Everything is spotless and well kept, hand sanitiser in the toilets, and disinfectant spray in the showers.
The bonus is that every pitch is fully serviced so it was easy to use your own facilities if preferred. At £25 a night, felt this was excellent value.
Pitches are on the small side so once our twin axle was on, plus awning and car, it didn’t leave much room to sit out and you are close to your neighbours. On the plus side, some pitches face shrubs down the middle of the site, so you’re not directly overlooked.
If you’re looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful setting, then this site is perfect. We would definitely return here if we wanted to be near Kendal.

We stayed for 5 nights, the site was lovely, peaceful and very clean, surrounded by fields and farm land, 10mins from the M6 so very easy to get to.
On the down side, there are no shops or pubs in walking distance, so take everything you need.
The site owner Val was very helpful and friendly,
The communal areas, toilets and showers were well kept and social distancing had been taken into account, so everyone could enjoy a safe well needed break.
I'm sure we'll visit again in the future.

A very pleasant and friendly site. Very clean facilities.
Easy to find and getting in and out of site with twin wheel caravan was easy enough.
The proprietor, Valerie, was very helpful.
