I have for several years and still do visit Edisford Bridge several times each year with the children for days out. Immediately out of the camp site there is a cafe, mini steam railway, playground, football pitch / play area, swings, walks along the river side, paddling and sitting area by the river great for children and adults, not to mention the leisure / swimming centre across the road and yet it remains and unspoilt peaceful site.
Check out Clitheroe and surrounding areas for lots more to do and see. I am a new member with the C&CC and visited the site last week.
Very clean standards as would be expected, helpful an polite service, picturesque site - can't wait to spen a weekend there!

Situated at the side of the river Ribble this is a very picturesque site. We stayed on the site for the evening and pulled off the next morning. Although we did not spend much time here we were very impressed with the cleanliness off the facilities and the service we received whilst there.

As you would expect a C&CC Site. There's building work going on at the moment but it causes no problem and should be great when it's finished. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Plenty of walks in the area, a leisure centre nearby, playing fields and narrow gage railway. On the banks of the River Ribble. Beautiful.
Good bird life. Recommended but very popular so booking at the moment essential.
