We stayed at this site in Aug 08 the weather was not good but we made the most of it. The site is small with some flat pitches. There is a small toilet block with 6 toilets. The showers are a little dated, a curtain is provided with lockable doors. The beach is a five minute walk away on the coast path, but steep, so the less abled beware. We were placed in the field that is used for horses due to shortage of space. This was separated with an electric fence (not so good with small children present)! Ball games were permitted. The site fees are very in-expensive

A return to camping for myself and wife after many years of package holidays, could not have chosen a better site. Weather was not great for the week, but beautiful site, well drained and good facilities. Stunning coastal walks both Northwards to Perranporth and South to St Agnes, and in easy reach of towns such as Truro and Redruth. We have already booked to return for a week in 2009.

Stayed at this site during August, weather was terrible, however, the site is absolutely brilliant! Gary the owner of the site helped us erect our Coleman Quadspace in wind and rain otherwise we would be still there!
Facilities are excellent, good showers, which are free, spacious pitches and a chilled out atmosphere. If you want a site to relax from the everyday humdrum of life then this is the place to be. St Agnes is a short drive away where all facilities can be found ie Costcutter supermarket, St Agnes bakery which is absolutely excellent! The Railway pub in the village is excellent for good quality food as is St Agnes hotel, however, I would not recommend the Driftwood Spars, although the food is good, the menu is very limited. The fish & chip shop in St Agnes is excellent as well. If you want a place to stay where you will be looked after, with brilliant walks nearby, the coastal path to Trevellas Porth is adjacent to the site, then I would thoroughly recommend this site.

This is a great little site half way between Peranporth and St Agnes and only 5 mins walk from the coast and cliffs. Great walks along coast path. The Shower/Toilet block was kept spotless with the showers being free. Slight slope on the site but nothing to worry about, the owners are very friendly and helpful We booked for 3 nights and ended up staying the week ! Will be back

Just come back from here. A lovely quiet site with good facilities. Very quiet in the evenings, so no problems for families with small children. We found it very windy even when other places were not so take delta pegs to be on the safe side. St Agnes, 2 miles away, is a pretty village with basic shops and a shingle / sandy beach with life guards. Good for surfing and body boarding. Perranporth is sandy, lifguarded and very busy. Gary was fantastic, helpful and always around if you needed anything.

This is the best site I've been to, I try to go every year. The facilities are great and clean and the wardens are very friendly and a short walk away is the most wonderful view. It is a long way from the nearest village, but take a bike or just walk, it's worth it. I can't wait to return

We have just spent a wonderful week at this site, despite the weather being pretty bad for most of the time. The pitch we used was in the smaller tents only section which was relatively sheltered during some pretty fierce winds. The torrential rainfall was not a problem as the pitch drained incredibly well.
Facilities were more than adequate and kept immaculately clean. Gary the warden was very friendly and helpful, but never intrusive.
There are some amazing coastal walks within minutes of the site, and the towns of Perranporth and Newquay are close by. A very comprehensive camping shop is only a few minutes away by car.
Excellent value for money in an area that is generally pretty expensive.

Very clean, very quiet with lovely views over the surrounding countryside. It overlooks "Happy Valley" or Blue Hills that gives into Trevaunance Cove. If you are towing a caravan I would look at the approaches very carefully because the lanes can be very narrow. Maybe I am out of touch with things because I usually "wild camp" but I thought that the site was far better equipped with washing machines, dryers etc then some larger sites that I have had the misfortune to use. All in all, I had a cracking visit and I would use the place again

This is a top campsite, in between Perranporth and St Agnes. It's basic, and slightly sloping, but with nice clean toilets and free showers. There are some great cliffs only a couple of minutes walk away. The owner, whose name escapes me, is a great bloke as well, really friendly and hospitable. Well worth a visit.
