Fantastic quiet little site.
We have used this site for several years as it is in a great location and Adult only.
The toilet and showers are very clean. The grass is kept short with pretty flower borders.
Lovely owners who are so friendly and helpful.
The pub is handy for a drink as behind the site and great Fish & Chips from the village.

I don't usually leave reviews of sites - too lazy. However, having read the one about the noisy pub next door and the garage with its pressure washer I felt it necessary to support the owners.
The site is immaculate. There is no disruption from the garage or the pub at any time. The owners were attentive and welcoming and the facilities spotless.
What on earth are some people looking for? Out of all the sites I have stayed on over the years this is amongst 'my top five' for value, quality and location. We will be going again.

What a fab site! Stayed for a Bank Holiday weekend due to a last minute cancellation.
Toilet block is fantastic, more like your own private bathroom and spotlessly clean. Site is small and very quite with hard standings, water and electric hook ups.
If you get the chance have a meal at the Coachman inn behind the site, food is fantastic and staff are very pleasant. They allowed our dog into the bar and lit the fire so pooch could lie and snooze while we ate!
If you get the chance its well worth a visit, am sure we will be back at Coachman soon. Had a fab weekend, quite and stress free! owners helpful and pleasant.
Be advised its an adults only site which suited us perfectly, total value for money!

Having returned from our one night stay we found the site easily. The owners were very friendly indeed, my impression was if they could help you with anything they would do
The showers / toilet area was spotless and will definitely book when I sort my holidays out. Close proximity to most places.
Having the water so near your pitch was very handy
Shop costcutter was a short walk away
Easy dog walk just left at the fire station

We have just returned from this site, it is a lovely peaceful site with immaculate facilities, the owners are very friendly and welcoming. We have a 5th wheel unit, we informed them of our unit when booking and this was no problem for them. There is a pub/restaurant next to the site which we didn't try, a chip shop just up the road, and various shops in the villages close by and lots of places/tracks near by to walk the dog. There are two toilet units complete with sink and shower which are spotless a prep sink with cold water only and a chemical disposal point just inside the gate, all pitches are marked and as you go through the gate there is a board with your name and pitch number you have been allocated on,the pitches have water/elec points with a light bollard with the pitch number on and the owners call a couple of times a day and will collect your site fees when they call. There is also a notice board by the toilets where you can find useful numbers like the local Doctors, vet, hospital etc and contact numbers for the owners should you need them.
We will be going back later in the year.

This is a small adult only site situated behind a lovely old coaching Inn which also serves superb food. It is in a perfect village location between Scarborough & Pickering with lots of lovely coast to visit and pretty Dales towns/villages; in fact plenty to see and do without having to travel too far - a week isn't long enough! The site is very friendly & well maintained and the showers/toilets are kept spotlessly clean.
Excellent all round, we will be returning again ASAP

This is a lovely site, with only 12 pitches, mostly hardstanding.
It is beautifully kept, with flower baskets to brighten it up.
There are 2 toilets, each in its own bathroom with shower and sink.
There is no hot water for potwashing, although the sink provided is sizeable for washing and for vegetable preparation.
The owners visit the site about twice a day, and they and the 'regulars' are very friendly.
Lovely pub next door with outside seating; great for the glorious weather we were lucky enough to have. It also serves bar food and has a very good restaurant selling quality food at reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.
The main downsides were noise. Noise from the A170, which can get very busy, and noise from the garage next door which seemed to be powerwashing cars just at the other side of the hedge. Some of the pitches are very irregular shapes, too.
Other than that, as our first foray into an adults only site it was very good, and very relaxing!

We have just spent 2 nights at this site.
The owners are very friendly and should they not be on site there are contact numbers should you need them.
Dogs are welcome so long as you keep them on a lead and clean up should there be any mess (I know most dog owners do this but the site had a bad experience a few weeks ago and they are especially keen).
The pitches have individual electricity and water so if unlike us you have the hosepipe with you there is no carrying water barrels.
Amenities are very clean, good showers.
As has already been said close to local villages with shops including post office/general store and butchers, it is next door to the pub (didn't try it out as had the dogs with us). Nice walks for the dogs and a really good area to relax, far enough away from the tourist trap of Whitby and Scarborough but close enough to nip to for the day.
We enjoyed this site and intend to return probably without the dogs so we can enjoy the adjacent pub. £15 per night is money we consider well spent.

This is a lovely little site
Adults only so very quiet
Its at the back of a lovely pub/restaurant where food is a little expensive but very worth it!
Surrounded by lots of lovely villages with some lovely pubs to eat in too
The owners are very friendly and make you feel welcome as do the season stayers.
The showers and toilets are very clean and pleasant
We will be coming again a very very nice place to go x
