This is a very well run campsite with good facilities and a well stocked caravan accessories and gas etc shop on site. The next door service station is convenient for necessities and the nearest supermarket is a 15 minute walk. Peebles is a delightful town and the surrounding area has lovely walks, scenery and places of interest.
Unfortunately, during our visit we had two days of torrential rain and the Cuddy (the burn) burst its banks and flooded the campsite at an alarming rate. Tents and awnings were flooded and the campsite was covered in at least six inches of water. As it continued to rain very heavily, we were moved to a higher site between the statics and the display caravans on sale. We left the next day mainly due to the unrelenting rain.
The wardens were excellent and dealt with the flood admirably. Apparently these floods occur occasionally during periods of heavy rainfall.

This is an excellent campsite, very friendly staff , also very safe for children. it is within easy walk of PeeblesThe only problem I see is the very steep road to leave the park, but I must say all the good things outweigh this one small problem
