 Quick and easy booking, directed to the best appropriate pitch and advised on the location of facilities etc.
Stayed one night to test the recently purchased kit and assess what we may need in the future.
The only down side was traffic on the main road, I really didn't anticipate how frequent & noisy it was, added to being under the flight path to Manchester airport and freight trains the noise was disturbing.

Lovely site good price nice and quiet, travelled as a couple with dog.
Lots of places to walk including the ressy, lots of pubs nearby to offering home cooked food at reasonable price.
Such a lovely area to visit.

This is a really well laid out site with very large pitches which is marred by being next to a busy road and under an airport flight path!
We had very little sleep due to traffic and aircraft noise, which is a shame because the site is set on the edge of the moors with access to numerous walks of various lengths and difficulty, most having at least one pub on the route.
Unfortunately, because of the noise we won't be returning.

Absolutely brilliant.
We like a spacious campsite with friendly and unobtrusive hosts.
We like lots of local walks but also love good pubs and friendly patrons.
This has everything in abundance and we will be back.

We stayed by choice on one of the 5 or 6 hard standing pitches across the road because it was more sheltered. (The main pitches looked well-mown with lovely views. )
Water and leccy very close, toilet waste close. We used our own facilities most of the time.
Toilets and showers well cared-for and clean, though no hot water in basins. Had little contact with owners.
Apparently there's a shop, but didn't see it. Price seemed high for what we used.
Lots of interesting things to see in Saddleworth, especially if you like Victorian industrial infrastructure.
Great walks EVERYWHERE you look. Dog walks plentiful from the site.

We have stayed ion this site, we love it there, always found it really good, pleasant and helpful staff, grass area immaculate which for us is a bonus….
Thought it was closed for some reason ??? Which would explain no response to my recent availability enquiry.

Excellent camp site, well appointed facilities and very clean and tidy.
Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.
Very friendly and accommodating staff, lovely farm shop with fresh produce.
