Just got back from a four night stay at Ty Gywn, excellent location with stunning sea views no matter which field you were on.
Only 10 minute walk along the coastal path to Mwnt beach which had a lovely little cafe, lovely views along the coastal path, we were lucky enough to see seals and dolphins.
The site itself is large and spacious and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful, they were just in the process of setting up an onside shop which is ideal if you don't have a car to get out and about as there are no local shops close by.
Mens and ladies shower and toilet block on site, very clean and well maintained, only downside is there is only one shower which we found after 6pm there was no hot water left, only found put as we were leaving there is an additional shower block on the very tip field which also has a freezer where you can refreeze your freezer packs.
Overall, very lovely site, campers very friendly and a lovely atmosphere all round. Not to mention the stunning sunsets over the sea. Highly recommend anyone to book a stay at this campsite

The site is accessed by the narrow single track road which leads down to Mwnt beach. This can be busy but there are a good number of passing places. It would help to have site name at top of this road.
The pitch was gently sloping while wheel blocks allowed a level pitch. Electric hook ups available.
The toilet and shower facilities were spotlessly clean but limited.
The sea views and sunsets are absolutely incredible difficult to better anywhere in the world. Wonderful views over to Mwnt church and Cardigan Island.
Easy access to the coastal path and on to Mwnt beach.
This is a site which offers so much and access to some of the best coastal views in Wales.
Definitely a site to visit and experience.

We originally booked for camping but as the weather had turned we upgraded to a static van for the two nights.
The owners were really helpful and managed to get it all sorted for us really quickly.
The caravan was clean and tidy and warm!
We will definitely be back as the location was fantastic for an amazing beach.

The site itself and the views were amazing! The family running it were lovely too!
There are a few things that for us was missing. There are only 1 female and 1 Male shower in the camping field and only 2 toilets each which is probably ok when its quiet but there was a lot of waiting around as the site was quite full.
There is also nowhere to dry your feet as nothing to stand on or sit on to do this as the water actually floods the whole floor. Also nowhere to put your toiletries whilst having a wash at the sink.
Could also do with some bins/recycling around shower area

An absolutely stunning location. We were able to watch dolphin in the bay from Mwnt headland, just a few minutes walk from the campsite.
Beautiful, well managed campsite. The facilities are basic and there is no signal for most phone networks as far as we could work out.
We only needed simple facilities, flat space, a good view and a clean shower block.
Electric hook-up was available if needed.
We will definitely visit again.

We love this site!
Walking distance to one of our favourite beaches, where you can see dolphins if you’re lucky.
Beautiful views and walls all around.
Basic facilities, but has everything you need. Toilets and showers spotless.
Owners are lovely and couldn’t do enough to help. Wifi is a bonus!
