Park was beautifully kept, toilet block was clean with plenty of hot water.
Kids play are was nice with dog and cycle walks.
We chatted with the park owners who were lovely and helpful.
I would recommend a stay here and my kids enjoyed the freedom.
It had tarmac roads around site making it great for the kids to skate or cycle on.

What I liked about this site was easy to find. Has a nice flat area for tents and the toilets and showers were good.
The staff were also very nice. Reasonable price of £10 for one person in a tent per night.
Disliked. At 6. 30am I went for a shower and shave. I must of run 4 litres of water down the drain for a shave before water was hot. And 3 litres before shower was hot. This needs to be hot sooner. As water is expensive.
They have a barrier at entrance which would not open at 6am even though I put code in. Had to get warden out of his caravan to open it. It was meant to open as you drive up to it. But it didn't two mornings on the trott.

What an absolute gem of a site.
Iv been looking at this site for a couple of years, glad we decided to visit.
We booked on route, Jill was very obliging.
We received a very friendly welcome from Jill & new warden Simon as we arrived. They always found time to say hello, whilst busy with their chores.
The facilities are kept extremely clean, the site itself is well maintained & the flowers around the site are beautiful.
The kids playground is the best I've seen, I'm sure the kids have hours of fun on there.
The pitches are level & spacious.
Its a pleasant walk into Sheriff Hutton, the pub The Highwayman Inn serves excellent food at reasonable prices.
Iv recommended the site to friends & family, we'll certainly visit again.
Keep up the good work.

We arrived on Sunday evening 24 April met by Ann and julian, we set up they gave us all the local information and a menu for the local food delivery which we had and was delicious and red hot
The next day they had gone and were replaced by jill and ray who were an absolute delight, very helpful and even told me about pork pie Wednesday in the local store which we collected on the way home and we weren't disappointed
The actual site is spotlessly clean
Lots of showers, a family bathroom and a disabled bathroom, everything else you would expect. bonus things are a washer and dryer iron and board
There is also a small shop with all the basics you may need
All in all it was a great stay and we will be returning
