The site owner was very accommodating in allowing a late check in and check out.
The price is reasonable.
Site is quite small but accessible and easy to park. Just a very short narrow single track on the final approach. The pitches are level from wheel to wheel across the width but from front to back was quite out of level. This wasn't an issue though as it is quite easy to level the caravan off the jockey front and back.
On arrival there was a white board up clearly identifying which pitch was ours.
A good few of the caravans looked as if they were standing pitches.
The site has a sizeable pond with a lot of ducks waddling around the site. It is quite picturesque and tranquil.
The site is very quiet and we barely seen anyone coming and going. It is also clean.
There is just a single toilet and shower in the gents, probably the same in the ladies. The toilet block was clean with a soap dispenser at the sink. It was a draughty old out house though, basic and uninviting, the shower was eclectic, not very powerful but warm. This was fine for us but I can see how it might put others off that like more creature comforts.
The drinking water point is at the toilet block, a tap and a hose. The water tasted clean, I just hope that the hose is quality and gets changed regularly.
Nothing much on site for the kids but plenty of things close by.

This was our first stay at Moss House Farm, we chose it because it was close to the motorway and we only needed a stop over on our way home.
Its an absolutely delightful site. Well kept and very clean. Nice views, a lovely pond with ducks that entertain the campers.
Great value for money, good facilities, toilet, shower block, water, grey and black waste facilities.
A board had been left out advising which pitch to park on, very handy, lovely owner, she popped over to check we were OK.
The kids on site were thoroughly enjoying themselves it was lovely to see them running around entertaining themselves rather than being stuck to electronic devices.
We may stop longer next time and see what the area has to offer.

Great location off M6, about 5 minutes. We just needed a last minute stayover.
It poured rain the whole evening and following morning of our stay so didn't see that much but it was easy to book, friendly staff.
Peaceful location with a lovely pond and lots of ducks.
EHU and water facilities, good value for money.
Toilets and showers basic but fine.
No laundry facilities but this didn't affect us.

Great little campsite within minutes of a fuel station, lovely village pub and the M6.
Brenda welcomed us and was very relaxed about our attempts to park after a very long drive!
All the basics, is a farm so don't expect luxury facilities but it's all there and catered for in a gorgeous setting.
Perfect place for a lay over xx

Stayed once before as an easy access stop off from the motorway & once again we're not disappointed.
This site has several residential pitches & when there was some confusion about which pitch we were on residents were friendly & helpful so sorted swiftly.
Site is pretty with a pond, duck family of 11 ducklings & wildlife all around.
There are nearby wetlands so oystercatchers, geese & other birds heard often.
Facilities are perhaps a touch dated but lovely & clean with hot water. There's recycling too.
15min walk at most gets you to a lovely local pub (white lion) which is very dog friendly & very popular.
When leaving we had a problem with our van brake lights & the owners family helped us get it sorted asap.
No complaints, extremely reasonable pricing & I'm sure we will be back again. Thank you

Perfect for a quiet peaceful one night stopover, despite being within a mile or two of the M6.
Facilities older, but perfectly adequate and clean.
We were not expecting luxury at this price, so all was great.
Thank you.

It's the fairest price around including ehu,
It's not too big,
Really close to the M6 but you can't hear it.
I came back here deliberately.
Brenda works hard to make the place welcoming on the low pricing

We chose Moss Farm because we were doing a very long journey and needed a one night pit stop near the M6.
We have no complaints, facilities are a bit dated but they were adequate and were kept very clean.
The site is small but again more than adequate for ours needs, big pond that our daughter loved and in the morning we had duck visitors for breakfast much to my daughters delight.
We didn’t have the time to explore the area around the site so unfortunately can’t comment.

Excellent site for our stopover heading south.
So easy to reach from M6 yet rural and quiet.
Very peaceful - lovely pond with very cute ducks & ducklings.
Basic facilities but clean and look newly refurbished.
Friendly welcome and flexible arrival as we were delayed en route.
Great value for money @£20 with electric on good hardstanding.
Will def stay again.
