Beautiful surrounding, spacious flat pitches, toilets, showers and washing up areas immaculate!
Very quiet and relaxing.
We met some lovely people who were local to the area and camp regularly.
Lots of beautiful places to visit.
Lovely country pub a short walk away. Great supermarkets a short drive away and the coast nearby.
We had a lovely holiday! As did our dog Rita Whippy x

I came here with a group of friends for a weekend. The owners designated a lovely wooded area (non-EHU) away from other campers so we wouldn’t disturb others and they wouldn’t disturb us. I’m recovering from a serious illness so, chose not to camp with the group so I could rest. This was no problem for the management.
When, we arrived, the site wasn’t particularly busy but, during the day quite a few more people (not our group) arrived and there was still plenty of space on this huge, and well managed site.
The site is quite secure and, facilities are top-notch with regularly (and spotlessly) cleaned and well maintained showers & toilets. There is also a washing up area with hot water. There’s areas with and without EHU (we chose without).
As for cost, the prices are very reasonable. Very few ‘rules’ other than asking for courtesy and consideration of others. The owners & staff are friendly accommodating and helpful and leave you with a number to call and ‘just let me know if you have any issues’. I didn’t need it though because I didn’t have anything to call for!
Although. This site is peaceful & secluded, it’s not far from supermarkets and pubs/restaurants.
It’s close to the lovely town Woodbridge, Sutton Hoo and Rendlesham forest (site of a famous ufo sighting) and easy travel to several locations on the coast.

Rather a special site in in my opinion in that it is not over regimented, it’s very spacious, even has a large area where you can camp in the “wild” if that’s what you like and my grandchildren loved the freedom.
You can hire fire pits.
The pitches are level, the facilities are spotless and the owners are very welcoming.
If you are travelling with friends the owners are very helpful in siting you together.
Lovely walks in the area including along the river, several very good pubs with good food nearby and a big Tesco not far away which is great particularly if you have a young family.

A quick response from the site when I enquired using the form on here and they confirmed they had space and the costs.
I duly transferred the money and they confirmed the booking and sent all the info for a contactless check in and where to pitch etc.
The site is split in two, the regimented side with electric hookups or the 'wild' side where you can camp in the trees etc. We went for the wild side as it gives more privacy and freedom and what a site.
It is very flat, very chilled and well maintained. The toilet and shower block are very clean, the showers are warm and spacious and the toilets are lovely, some of the best I have seen on a campsite. There is also a washing up area, freezer, full recycling, plenty of fresh water points and waste and grey water tanks.
The site is about 3/4 mile to the path that runs alongside the estuary, however when I tried to turn towards Woodbride, the path that appears to run through a garden, had been blocked off, so I was not able to do the walk I wanted. I went the other way and walked for a few miles along the river. It was peaceful and a lovely walk.
We went to the pub and it is right on the riverbank and they served some delish looking food and a good choice of drinks too.
We did not explore the area so cannot comment on the surroundings or Woodbridge, Ipswich, etc.
I would defo stay again and at £20 per night for 2 adults in a VW camper, it is a bargain. It is dog friendly too and kids would have tons of fun enjoying the open space and playing games.

Booked on day of arrival. Prompt confirmation.
Plenty of space with very good clean facilities.
Walked along the Deben estuary and enjoyed a delicious meal at the Maybush Inn.
We would return to this campsite.

This site has the potential to be lovely.
The lady I booked with was extremely pleasant and helpful.
The campsite is pretty and has options of where to camp.
The toilets and showers were kept clean and serviced regularly.
However,
We were really disappointed in the lack of staff presence. Whilst we were there we didn't once see or speak to anyone who could possibly have been a warden.
Dogs consistently ran around off lead and inti peoples awnings and tents which was extremely stressful for us as we have a young puppy who was on a lead at all times and very scared when one of the dogs snarled and lunged at her. I felt intimidated and only walked her in the early morning.
The pitches in the next row on the electric parts are extremely close. Unfortunately our neighbour behind us liked to play music all day and evening.
The actual camping fields have lots of rubbish on them which my puppy regularly picked up in her mouth.
All of these negatives could be put right by more presence of staff and a better level of site care. We came home a day early and won't return.

A fantastic site well run site. Clean and a real sense of being in nature with natural surroundings. And for those not needing electric, freedom to choose where you camp.
We stayed in mid July and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Plenty to see around the river Deben and even the keel of a replica Viking ship being laid in a huge shed at Woodbridge quay near Sutton Hoo where the original ship burial site was found (now a national trust site and also worth a visit although they didn't know much about the actual ship).
Lots of walks and cycling too.
We had our boat with us and Waldringfield is an excellent place to sail.
Highly recommended!
Thanks to Jennifer and Jack for being so kind.

This was our first visit to low farm
Lovely well kept site but spoilt by noise disturbance due to no noise policy being 11pm which in my opinion is too late especially when you have children to get to sleep
