A lovely, welcoming Site. This was the first time we’d stayed here, it won’t be the last.

There are 5 hard standings in a semicircle facing the facilities block and ~15 spaces with ehu in the grassy area behind.

It’s a very quiet Site, especially in late October, but with an ideal location just outside town - about 35 minutes walk away.

Facilities aren’t glistening or brand new but they are clean and with some of the best showers we’ve come across.

At £28/night for van, ehu and a hard standing it’s excellent value for money much better than the two nearby Sites operated by C& C or C &M Clubs.

We’ll be back.

 We loved this site.

Very quiet and very well kept as part of a working farm.

Shower facilities were nice and clean.

Location was fantastic for touring the area.

Lovely tidy and well kept site.

Spacious pitches with a hedge at the back offering privacy from units in the other area.

Facilities very good and clean.

Lovely country walks from the site.

We stayed at Pecknell Farm over the Easter weekend and had a great time there.

It's a lovely, well maintained site with welcoming owners,

Great showers,

An easy 1. 5 miles walk along the track into town and in a great location to explore the local area on foot or by bike.

We turned up without booking after really bad and red reception at CCC site up the road!

Excellent site, very well maintained, really peaceful, 1. 5 miles from Barnard castle to walk round lovely town ;

Working farm so dogs must be walked off main site which is fine, lovely hot showers, toilet block we’ll looked after and very clean

Only downside is no emptying point for motorhomes and no bins on site - need to walk down steep lane to dispose of rubbish which is fine but we just hung on to rubbish and disposed on way out

Lovely site with huge pitches and walking distance through fields or path that follows the river-bit more challenging but well worth it.

Toilets dated but clean.

Could do with rewording a few of the posters around the site as it came across as don’t do this don’t do that.

Other than that fab site

This is a well-laid out peaceful site. 5 gravelled hard-standings used mainly by motorhomes as well as a large field with about 15 grass pitches.

Water taps nearby, as well as a wash-up sink and dump facilities.

The only downside was the rubbish/recycling bins were quite a walk back down the lane so we saved ours to dump on the way out.

Facilities were still not open owing to covid restrictions so can't comment on them.

Lots of walks in the area which we did not try out due to the rain.

At £16 pn this is a good cheaper alternative to the club sites across the road.

Without doubt the quietest site we've ever stayed on!

Site is immaculate, we hadn't booked, but the owner Ann was very pleasant, laid back and helpful.

Can't fault it, lovely area, nice half hour walk to Barnard castle.

No facilities on site for youngsters, but ours have flown the nest, so that suits us fine.

Very reasonable rates too, Thank you Ann ( and daughter!)

If you find anywhere more perfect, let me know.

Lovely location, best showers I have seen anywhere for years, owner very laid back and non intrusive.

Highly recommended.
