It was so lovely I don't want to share it with everyone!
It was very peaceful, everyone was quiet, even all the dogs!
We heard owls and saw bats and the milky way at night.
The new showers and toilets are fab too.
And most places seem to be 20 - 30 mins away - Snettisham, Hunstanton and the Holt railway station of the North Norfolk Railway.
Enjoy it, but leave a space for me to come back to in the winter!

We have stayed at the Garden Caravan site several times. This is one of the best sites we have ever stayed at.
It's well laid out with spacious pitches which are always dry thanks to the North Norfolk Sandy soil.
The toilet block and utilities are excellent.
The site is well positioned for visiting the whole of the North Norfolk coast, and there's plenty of interesting attractions, National Trust sites and English Heritage sites.
There's a well stocked Spar 4 miles up the road in Docking.
If you need major supermarkets, pharmacies etc these are a few miles away in Fakenham. There's plenty of good walks from the site, due East the footpath takes you to an iron age fort 2 miles away.
Good walks along the old sea wall from Cley, Blakeney, Morston Quay, Brancaster and Brancaster Staithe. Best sandy beach is Holkham, though miles of sand at Brancaster.
For swimming try the shingle ridge between Cley and Weybourne, when calm.

Well kept grounds and facilities.
Nicely laid out screened with mature trees.
Good walks nearby, close to the attractions of the North Norfolk Coast and good eating places.
Excellent

This is a hidden gem, the site is set in an old walled garden of a manor house and is separated by tall hedges giving welcome privacy and being adults only means it is very peaceful and relaxing.
The owner is very friendly but not intrusive and the other people on site were also very friendly and we would definitely go back again.
There dog walk was a lovely walk through woods which was great for our Shepherd as it was cooler in the warm spell we are having at the moment.
If I had to fault anything I would say the toilet/shower block could probably do with a bit of a refurb but are adequate as they are.

This is a lovely site. It is so peaceful, quiet, and well-maintained, and the setting, in a walled garden with woodland to one side, is perfect. It seems more aimed at caravanners with mostly EHU pitches, but there are a few non-electric pitches and tent pitches. We had a great stay and everyone on site was pleasant and friendly.
There are 3 toilets and 2 showers for the women (including a disabled toilet) - not sure about the arrangements for the men! They are heated, spacious and there is lots of hot water. And lots of hooks!(very important!) Other reviewers have felt they needed updating but I thought they were excellent compared to many sites I have used.
The site is next to woodland where there are some lovely little walks. There are also longer footpaths/byways which connect from the site to neighbouring villages.
There is a reception hut which contains a fridge and freezer which costs 50p per night to use.
I think it would be nice to remove the charge of 50p to freeze ice blocks for non-electric pitches since most caravans and motorhomes have their own fridge/ freezer whereas campers without ehu are relying on passive cool boxes. I didn’t mind paying for it, but it is the first time I have been charged to freeze ice blocks.
It would also be good if there was the facility to charge phones. I know this costs next to nothing and again some sites will do this for free but I wouldn’t mind paying 20p or something,
A couple of other points - there is no site Wi-Fi and phone reception is poor. Not a problem for a short stay though.
Price for a non-electric pitch was £22. With electric it is £28. It seems to be a very popular site. I would definitely go back!

Lovely quiet campsite in the middle of the summer holidays, as it's adult only. Good size pitches on well drained land, all enclosed in a very large old walled garden.
Excellent position for North Norfolk and good country walking from the campsite.
You can visit the classic fishing villages of Brancaster Staithe and Blakeney, bird watching anywhere on the North and West coast, swim in the sea on the long shingle beach between Cley and Weybourne.
Well stocked shop in nearby Docking which also has a fish and chip shop.
Toilet block adequate though could do with upgrading the showers.

Very peaceful site in a lovely walled garden that was probably left over from the original manor house now demolished.
Plenty of space, clean facilities and a laid back atmosphere, perfect for a long weekend away.
On our list to revisit.
