We love this site
Been loads of times
Chris and kirsty are really nice people Chris is out working so hard all day
The site is well kept and the owners are very obliging.
The fishing is free if you stay on site and we both enjoy this sport there are plenty of carp and roach in the lake.
We'll be back soon

I had driven past Upton Barns on numerous occasions, having lived in both nearby Hinckley and Nuneaton for over 40 years.
The site is quiet with all the basic facilities you need.
I only stopped for 2 nights having driven up from Cornwall, so I didn't really get the chance to experience the other facilities eg. Bar/dining etc.
I will definitely be using this site again as and when I need to revisit the East Midlands.
The site was secure, quiet and benefited from 2 nights of sunny, warm weather.
The staff we great for a camping novice

We love this site! We always get such a friendly welcome, other half enjoys the fishing,
Pitches are spacious,
Joey’s bar is loads of fun with good music and something for everyone. Food from the burger bar is excellent, they are upgrading it at the moment.
One of our favourite places to stay with the trailer tent.

A quiet site with a small fishing lake.
The website wasn't up with details to see what was available prior to booking.
The restaurant was closed but there's a snack bar open mornings and evenings, reasonably priced nice food. Also places locally that will deliver and pub 1 mile walk.
The swimming pool is also closed.
Toilets and showers were clean.
Joe's bar good prices and a nice little area welcoming kids.
Friendly staff across the site.

We have just stayed at this site for 7 days with 3 adults and 7 children. The owners are very welcoming and helpful, the grounds are maintained well.
The only negative I would say is the toilet and shower block need a revamp and the washing up facilities could also do with a facelift, and maybe could also look at putting more sinks as at present there is only one.
Very quiet and peaceful site.

We had a 2 night weekend stay.
It was a nice relaxing site plenty of room around the pitches. Staff very friendly and helpful.
The toilets and showers were clean and cleaned regularly. However they are dated. We felt at £30 per night it was a bit over priced.
We would go back again.

The site is in a lovely, secluded, quiet area, unfortunately that's the only positive for me. The site is very tired and dated. The standard of clean certainly didn't match mine. At eye level it appeared to be ok but just look up, I've never seen so many spider's webs, the ceiling in the ladies meagre block is moldy and falling down. There are 2 toilets and 2 showers for a site that had about 350 people on it. The pot wash area was a joke, there was a sign warning about the hot water, we couldn't fill a cup never mind a bowl, my husband and I had to go into the toilet blocks to fill our jugs with warm water and take them to the pot wash area. The rubbish area needs a bit of tweaking, it needs closed units to post your various items of rubbish, (plastics, paper, glass etc), you could smell it a long way off.
Someone near us had a problem when their electric tripped around 0800 but they had to wait for someone to be in the office to get it sorted and turned back on. The ladies in the restaurant were lovely, the service good. Some of the other staff on the site were downright grumpy to the point of rude!
This place could put you off camping if it was your first jaunt.
