A well maintained site with excellent facilities within convenient walking distance to Leyburn.
The site is a little exposed in windy weather and the pitches are quite close together.
The owners were very helpful and friendly.

Whats not to like at Cow Close.
Pitches, cleanliness, location are all top notch.
Been here a few times now.
Pleasant walk into Leyburn where you can get most things.
Good pubs and food.
Will be back next year.

A very nice site for anyone wanting peace and quiet.
It’s about a 20 min walk into Leyburn where the bus service runs to Richmond or Ripon for those not wanting to drive.
The campsite and toilet block is nice and clean but only 2 toilets and showers for the ladies and same for men which is ok in the week but might be a problem on a weekend.
Overall we enjoyed or stay …

Greeted on arrival by owner with cheery smile that stayed for all our visit.
Site is immaculate. Toilets modern and spotless. You feel like you could happily sit on site and just chill out.
No shop on site so go prepared. Really recommend this place but mid week as weekends get very busy.
Surrounding area? you're in Yorkshire! enough said.
Value for money? see previous answer.
Go, you'll love it.

Very friendly owners we were shown to our pitch and told where all the facilities were
The small information shed had a good supply of leaflets.
The toilets were very clean
If you want a site to use as base for walking this ticks all the boxes
Very peaceful and relaxing

Phoned last minute for the bank holiday weekend and was lucky to get a space.
Was loaned an extension to the EHU, nice clean facilities,
Well maintained grounds and a great little hut that had loads of local info in with a chalk board out front that was updated daily.
Some great walks around the local area and into town which has a range of shops

The pitch and views were fantastic,
The toilets and showers two male and two for females were OK for through the week but not adequate when full at weekends

Nice quiet site, apart from the bird song!, well laid out with plenty of room for each pitch. Very clean, modern facilities. Very helpful owners. 5 minutes outside of Leyburn with a number of walks from the campsite.
On the Sunday afternoon at about 3pm we noticed one of the tyres on our caravan was flat. We asked the owner if he might be able to help.
He immediately said he knew who to call, and 20 minutes later he said a mobile tyre man was on his way.
Deano from Primrose Tyre Services had the wheel off in no time and saw a big nail in it. We said we were there till Thursday and Deano said he could do it either Monday or Tuesday. At 7. 30 Sunday evening he called to say it was fixed and he was bringing it back!
Brilliant service, all because the owner knew exactly who to call.
Thanks all round!

Lovely site with beautiful views all around. Shower and toilet facilities are spotless.
Owners very nice and friendly.
We were on pitch 13 with a full awning we were very close to our neighbours on pitch 12 luckily they were lovely.
The pitch is hardstanding for the car and caravan awning on grass which was sloped. Due to torrential rain the awning was water logged in parts.
Apart from that great site
