This site has two parts, the Caravan and Motorhome field, and at the end of this, a separate little paddock for four tents, who don't have to be members.
It's a little less manicured but fine, if quite a way to the facilities.
There are separate ones for men and women, with a wash basin, loo and token-operated shower, and are very clean. The pot-wash has coin-operated hot water.
The route by bike into Chester via the Dee Estuary is far preferable to the bike land through the commercial estate to the north.
It's quiet, no road noise.

We stayed in an idyllic little corner of this quiet site. We woke to birdsong and the beautiful horses in the next field.
The facilities are basic but very clean.
The owners are friendly and helpful.
No amenities within walking distance for us, so if you are not fit enough to cycle, you need to pack up your van and drive.
Easy access to central Chester with paid parking.

Brilliant little campsite, the location is outstanding.
Whilst you feel in the middle of nowhere, Chester is either a short drive away or the buses are a 14 minute walk away.
The facilities were immaculate.
Really enjoyed my short stay,
Would go back in a heartbeat.

This is a great CL in walking distance (35-40 minutes) from Chester city centre. About 10 minutes walk brings you onto the main road where frequent buses run into the city.
There is also a large retail park with 10-15 minutes walk away. In the other direction. It's 5-10 minutes walk onto the River Dee, tarmac cycle/walking right into the city or out to the Wirral.
Site itself is part of livery. The CL is slightly away from the yard in a pretty grass area surrounded by trees. Electric hookups and plenty or room.
There are a couple of hardstanding closer to the yard.
Loos / showers definitely rustic but so the job.
Long driveway down means no road noise at all.
At £22 per night it's a perfect CL for the city and/or the countryside. Owners are lovely helpful people too.
Be back soon we love it

Very peaceful site but with plenty of farm and horse activity to watch,
Hot 15 minute showers,
Very friendly and accommodating owners.
All the attractions of Chester city is a bike ride or walk away along the river and the location is a great mix of city and country life.

No problem booking were told if no one about select a pitch and catch up later.
Friendly people, had to find them to pay. Small tent area but good pitch.
No problems the amenities are dated but clean and work well. Not busy and quiet.
Working farm, with the exercise area near the tent pitches so you can hear it.
All in all we enjoyed our trip.
