About half the pitches are seasonal, and placed around the perimeter - midweek, they were almost deserted, as was the touring area. A trek into Callander walking beside a busy A road, shops closed by 4pm, excellent speciality baker; hourly bus to Stirling via Doune, which we enjoyed for its castle (of Outlander & Monty Python knights fame) and walks.
Liked - site feels open & sunny, with neatly mown grass in the central space (this could have been filled with pitches) & views of the hills; 2 dog walk areas where she could run off-lead, the corner by the River Teith was best; the hardstanding EHU stanchions all have a tap and grey water drain; comprehensive recycling; good communication from the site - but why did I have to give our ages to make the booking online?
Disliked - dirty showers: sinks and toilets spotless, but "nobody cleans up after themselves, ever" said the cleaner; husband & I both had to use the squeegee before our showers or step into someone else's shower foam puddle - but an hour after we'd left them like we'd like to find them, they were flooded into the sink area, and then were awash again in the evening after the cleaner came late afternoon.
Showers free in the Ladies & Gents, but only 3 of each for 129 pitches, and there was a queue despite the site being nearly empty. The Family Rooms are like a bathroom at home (one has a bath!), those showers 20p for 3 minutes, but both evenings I had to squeegee the room to reach the sink & toilet without getting my shoes wet.
The lack of respect shown by a few people for other site users and the staff of the site was disappointing. Hopefully, if & when we return, we'll enjoy the clean showers that are praised in other reviews. £33 pn.

We choose this site as its 15 minutes walk from the town of Callander ( footpath all the way).
On arrival our registration was in the system so barrier lifted automatically, no need to check in. Choice of any available pitch, there weren't that many as site hs probably 80% seasonal.
Pitches with grass between units were larger. There are rows on gravel which seemed tighter, especially where cars parked next to vans instead of in front.
Facilities are immaculate, good hot shower. There is a laundry / washing up room. Great enclosed dog walk where you are able to let them off lead.
Beautifully kept site, very peaceful, would use again if in area.

A handy location on the immediate outskirts of Callander - easy walk into town centre which has all the necessary shops / cafes / bars / etc.
A few fully serviced pitches tucked away along one side, but most of site filled with seasonal caravan pitches and statics - I was surprised how few seasonals were occupied during weekdays, but it made for a quiet site.
Plenty of space for walking the dog and an enclosed wooded area for off-lead adventures. There is also a walk down to the River Teith which runs along one side of the site for a short distance.
The ablution facilities were very clean and well maintained - I have marked site facilities down a bit (7) mainly because there's little else provided - no shop or leisure options.
Staffing is very light, but the ones we encountered were friendly and helpful.
The main gripe is that they do not allow cars on site with motorhomes, claiming this is due to 'regulations', so must be left in car park which is not particularly large. The pitches are large enough to allow this. Since this was our 11th site stay this year, and no previous site had imposed this restriction, we found this rather odd.

Lovely site just 1 mile out of Callander, easy walk into town.
The site is very well maintained and the facilities are immaculate.
Plenty of showers and toilets and a separate area to wash dishes and there are laundry facilities if you are staying longer.
We will definitely return here

We really enjoyed our stay at this site. The location was ideal for walking into the town centre. The facilities were very clean and tidy at all times, We were impressed with the way the accommodations were set up and the enclosed dog walk.
If we were to mention anything it would be the short spurts of the shower but we can understand why this needs to be this way.
We liked the way email communications kept us up to date and gave us emergency numbers.

What can I say quite and peaceful site. Picked our own pitch on arrival, man came to greet us on arrival which was nice, Site very clean and tidy.
Only drawback was having to drive around site to empty Gray waste has this seemed to be the one and only point for Gray Waste, Talking to another Motorhome owner and they thought this was the only negative on this site.
Did not use facilities so cannot comment on how clean they were.
Nice 20 minutes walk into Callender to local shops which Good Lady loved.
So if you want to unwind this is the place to come.

Lovely clean site within easy reach of Callander town, and the falls (well worth a walk to).
No issues at all and will certainly use again if back this way 😎

Lovely well kept site. We had a contactless check in, so no contact with any staff. Nice big serviced pitch, which we chose ourselves.
The toilet blocks are kept immaculate and look modern. Push button showers which last about 5 seconds !
Lovely walk in to Callander on the old disused railway path. Lots of lovely shops and Cafes in town.
Recommend the very dog friendly Atrium Cafe. Plenty dogs walks directly from the site and town.
We will be back.
