The site was selected as it is convenient to Callander. The staff were quite friendly, you choose your own pitch.
The site was very wet, no hardstand, grass only with hookup and drain. We drove around the site twice, many pitches completely saturated, our car is not four wheel drive, and we did not want to be stuck. Pitch up was fine but needed to use ramp to level out.
Facilities clean and tidy, and children's covered play area useful. This site is expensive compared with others. Not really value for money and site drainage needs improved.

Used this site for a one night stop over, sorry but not impressed perhaps they only like caravans. Welcome was short and to the point - go and find a pitch here's the list of rules. Looking round the site I couldn't believe how many notices were attached to trees, it seemed each tree had a notice telling you what you couldn't do, even hanging the fire appliances from the trees

Have stayed at this site several times over the last few years, always impressed at the cleanliness of the site, caravans are well spaced, showers and toilets are clean and adequate, washing up area under cover and well sign posted. Bit of a walk into callender, but worth the effort, really nice shops and cafes. Recommend this site as a good base for exploring the local area.
Good fish and chip shop in callender.
Plenty of room to walk and exercise the dogs, room for children too, although no ball games allowed.
Site has a big area for static caravans but its well away from the tourers so no problem.

Used this site as a stop over for two nights despite some doubts as it wasn't a club site.
All facilities were very clean including the showers.
Play area was ok and there was no noise at night.
The pitch had it's own water supply as well as the Electric hook up,
Wastes points well placed so you don't have walk far.
Would recommend this site to anyone.

Came to this site to try out our caravan for the first time, we were booked for 3 nights but, despite the rain, we wish that we could have stayed longer. The site is excellent, very clean facilities, however there was no hair dryers, the staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival and were seen carrying out their business on several occasions without intrusion.
Our visit coincided with the World Highland Games so Callander was very busy during the weekend. This site is ideal for touring the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and is very close to Stirling with its great shopping Centre and the Castle.

Just back from a weekend at this wonderful site. It is in a lovely setting on the edge of Callander. The toilets/showers were clean with the plenty hot water (which I think is the most important thing), the park was clean and very well looked after, and the warden also done regular patrols.
The kids play area must be the best I have came across, which also had a covered section if it rained. There was also a large family area where you could play.
Callander is just over a mile away, you can walk there in 25 minutes along the pavement. Once there you will; find the usual tourist type shops and a selection of hotels/bars.
This was my first visit to this site and it wont be my last, I would encourage anyone visiting this area of Scotland to give it a try, you want be disappointed.

This was our first time caravanning and it will definitely not be the last thanks to everyone at this site. The lady at reception was extremely helpful and so was the gentleman who helped us to fix a minor disaster with the caravan and also to level it! The pitch was very nice and spacious, we were able to choose our own. It was slightly wet but this was due to lots of rainfall that particular weekend! Very easy access to water and electricity. The toilet and shower blocks were very clean and well maintained, as was the chemical toilet disposal. My 3 year old son enjoyed the play park very much, it was good that part of it was under cover. We will definitely be returning here and would recommend it to anyone. A great site for all ages. It was also very quiet as there is no bar on site but it is a 5 minute journey into town for lots of very nice shops, bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend the Wee But n Ben Bisrto. Excellent food!

Just returned from a pleasant weekend at this great site just outside Callander, The pitch sizes were very good, really clean toilet / shower block, good waste disposal points and generally a really clean and tidy well maintained park.
The welcome we received was excellent with the girl at reception pointing out local good points. We were able to choose our own pitch which I presume is the norm and is quite a good idea.
The children's play area looked excellent and the family section is based round that part, free fishing is available on the river that runs at the back of the park, all in an excellent park and well worth a visit.

This is a great caravan site one of the best in Scotland. Toilet block is good as any caravan club ones maybe even better. Great football pitch for children and adults plus its away from the caravans so no damages!. The only downside is no ground sheets and some of the pitches are on uneven ground so you need levelling blocks. This is a great base for touring central Scotland.

This was our second visit to this site. It was still as good as before - clean toilets, good play area and helpful staff.
The site has a footpath all the way to the town that runs along the side of the road.
In general a very good site for families.
