This site is very relaxing. The pitches are large and extremely well spaced around the outsides of 2 large fields. Plenty of room for van and awning.
We have stayed here several times and come back for the beaches, which are within easy reach which was the prime reason for us coming here initially. The only noise is the sea and, if it’s windy, the wind. Coastal path is 50 yards away.
Wash rooms are cleaned regularly (I saw them being cleaned at 6. 30 in the morning) and are perfectly fine but not luxurious. Not sure if they are heated.
The site shop is slightly off site, but another shop not connected to the campsite is on a nearby beach if you forget anything.
Overall, very peaceful great location for beaches and walks and 10-15 minutes drive to Padstow.

We just love this campsite. It's our 9th year visiting Trethias, and we travel every year from Aberdeenshire to Cornwall because it is just so good.
The site is clean and spacious with all the facilities we need. It's close to an excellent beach, with local shop, food options and a nice walk up the coastal path to one of the best cream teas in Cornwall.
This year we brought three other families together to join us and they all had an excellent time. We've come with babies, and now with teenagers, and there is plenty to do. It's dog friendly, as is Treyarnon Bay beach.
Just a perfect location.

Back again to a site we first visited 40 years ago. Again with our son and daughter and their families for a regular summer meet up as this site remains a firm family favourite.
The site is unique in its layout of very large fields with pitches only around the edge giving a real sense of space. The location near the cliff tops gives brilliant views specially sunsets.
Nearby Treyarnon Bay, 10 mins walk, is one of the nicest bays in Cornwall and the grandchildren love the natural rock pool, listed as one of Britain's best wild swimming spots.
Nearby attractions include the almost a lovely Porthcothan Bay - 30 mins along the Coast Path, and Berryfields a few minutes up the road from Porthcothan for fabulous Strawberry Cream Teas.
Padstow is also nearby and Newquay not much further.
Some reviews mention 'tired facilities', possibly true but not a problem for us. The outdoor shower and wetsuit wash are a plus.
Trethias Farm remains our families top holiday destination

So convenient for the beach, we've used this site many times.
The sunsets can be stunning. Good location.
Good bus service too from Constantine Stores both ways along the coast.

Booked into Trethias Farm as friends regularly stay there and we were testing out our new awning.
Have stayed at many sites and I found this site to be excellent. Very spacious with good, clean facilities.
Staff were very friendly and both the site and facilities were is great condition.
The walk down to Treyanon bay was short and beach facilities (YHA bar + food and small shop) easy to get to.
We are local and so drop into various sites in the area on a regular basis - we will definitely use Trethias again.

This campsite is superb for those wanting peace and quiet, but with easy walking access to some superb beaches (all dog friendly). The owners are very friendly, relaxed about pitching up and helpful.
Only sounds were the crashing waves - the cliffs were about 50 yards away from our pitch, as was the South West Coast Path.
The washrooms are functional, but not flashy and cleaned regularly. Although we visited in mid June, there were very few people staying on the campsite.
It wouldn’t have mattered if there were more, as the pitches are large and only around the outside of the fields, leaving massive spaces in the middle of the fields themselves.
A short walk down a private lane gets you to Treyarnon Bay, a small but perfectly formed beach popular with surfers, couples and families.
Other beaches are a short walk past this and there are some eating places along the way.
Children won’t have a lot to do here, but there is a small shop at Treyarnon Bay if buckets, spades or other goodies are needed.
Padstow is a 15 minute drive away, but if you just want to relax and enjoy the silence, just stay put on the quietest site I’ve stayed on.

Lovely site, friendly welcome and big pitches.
Location is fantastic as it's directly on the coast path, fab views and also has a great dog walk area.
Facilities were good, clean and well located - highly recommended
