Our third visit to this traditional site with a relaxed atmosphere and spectacular views.
David with his friendly wave is always available for any queries.
This never overcrowded well maintained camp site is a jewel in Cornwall's crown.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Trethias Farm!
The view and location with the proximity to a wonderful beach was just amazing!
The facilities were clean and all that you could wish for.
The owner Dave was brilliant and made us feel very welcome, making his rounds on his lawn mower tractor and making sure we were okay in 45miles wind 😊

Very good site for people who like space, relaxation in great spot by the sea.
A short walk to local fabulous beaches, Treyarnon, Constatine & Booby Bays.
Relatively unspoilt part of Cornwall. Coastal walk immediately next to camp site. Fantastic sea & coastal views from the site.
The site would benefit from a shower block in 'G' field.

Wonderful campsite in a truly fantastic location.
Staff was friendly and welcoming.
We really like the space we had around us, they haven't tried to cram everyone in.
Can't wait to come back next year!

We have been coming to Trethias annually since 2010 usually with family and friends for 1 / 2 weeks.
It is our all time favourite holiday destination. We are in the throes of moving so no holiday planned this year but move has been delayed.
Took a chance and managed to get a couple of nights last minute- what an amazing time we had.
It lived up to all our usual expectations-location, facilities, peaceful and weather! Fabulous- thank you David and Leroy.
We will be back next year.

This is a beautifully located site right on SW coast path and within walking distance of 2-3 lovely beaches (if able-bodied).
The site is well kept, tidy and quiet with pitches around the edges and space left in the centre of the camping fields. This makes it feel spacious and uncrowded.
There is only one water tap on the EHU field and rubbish can only be deposited in bins at the entrance, a short walk away.
All rubbish must be split for recycling and the owner is very particular about this.
The site is very popular and given it’s not the cheapest around I feel some investment could be made in the shower/laundry block. This is a little tired and old and had clumps of hair stuck to the wall in the ladies a couple of times despite, I assume, having been cleaned.
A regular occurrence on this site is the arrival of caravans during the night ready for pitches due to vacate the next day. This has never caused a disturbance and I am sure, due to the narrow lanes approaching the site, vans are best to do this during the night.
However, it can feel a little pressurising when it’s your turn to pack up and leave!

We first came to Trethias Farm nearly 40 years ago with our children. Since then our eldest daughter has returned with her family (travelling from Aberdeen) and this time we were also joined by our son and family from Edinburgh. They all have fond memories of the site from their childhood.
The owners, the Chandlers, are extremely helpful and always available.
The site is truly exceptional: the sense of space created by the siting of pitches only around the edge of huge fields makes this site so different to all the rest. The location, on the cliffs by the coast path gives breathtaking views and sunsets. The nearest beach, Treyarnon Bay, is a gem. Our grandkids particularly love the huge, deep rock pool in the cliffs and spent most days there.
After a day on the beach, the outdoor shower and wet suit rinsing facility is most useful. The site also has a really lovely dog exercise area, spacious and safe but with fabulous views.
The beach also has great catering outlets, the shack on the south side and the Youth Hostel/pub and the Coastal Coffee stall on the north. There is also a small shop selling pasties and beach goods,
A great favourite with the whole family was the several trips to Berryfields for strawberry cream teas, memories of this will sustain us through the winter.
The local area has numerous attractions, Padstow, Harlyn Bay, coastal walks. There are also opportunities to try surfing, paddle boarding or canoeing at various schools in the area.
This is a site we and our families will continue to visit.

A superb visit to a superb campsite. We love the space and the location.
The staff (family) are friendly and always accessible.
This is our fifth visit with family (kids now age 13, 11 & 8) and we convinced friends to Come and join us as well this time. They all had a wonderful time.

We had almost given up our quest to find a site which was quiet and in the perfect location, well we found it at Trethias!
We concur with other reviews in that it is very peaceful and in a fantastic location with so many bonuses, ie dog friendly beaches on the doorstep, stunning sea views and sunsets,
Flat impeccably maintained pitches, spacious pitches in a huge field whereby other sites would have crammed it full.
We found the toilet and shower facilities spotless at all times and never busy.
We hope on our next visit we are fortunate enough to have respectful neighbours as we did this time as it seems for us in previous sites this is an impossibility.
We feel though that this site attracts the more considerate campers and so hope we will be lucky next visit.
Thank you Trethias for making our holiday restful, peaceful and simply brilliant.
