Lovely little gem out in the countryside, spotless facilities,

Very helpful staff, plenty of places to visit locally ( you will need a car ) can walk to local village that has a couple of good pubs about 20 minutes but walking on quiet road !

Would use again.

Staff Communication, surroundings, facilities all fab,

Chuckwagon on Fridays Saturdays and Sundays added bonus,

Couldn't be more dog friendly plenty of walking area and bins ultra clean site.

My only gripe is the push button showers lasting only seconds before having to push again 😑

One of the best sites we've visited. It's well equipped, friendly owners & staff and mostly very quiet.

The pitch we were on was nice and big too and areas are divided by well established hedgerows. It was lovely to see the pitches divided by unmowed areas supporting a large variety of grasses, clover etc which the bees were clearly enjoying.

The lake seems well stocked and although I'm only a casual angler I enjoyed an afternoon catching lots of nicely sized tench.

We were booked for 4 nights but stayed an extra night thanks to the fabulous weather.

Suffolk has some beautiful countryside and beaches and Mill Hill Farm is a great base from which to explore. We have no small children but I can't imagine there's all that much for them on site but as a retired couple that suits us perfectly.

If you stay there, do check out The Snug Tea Room at Westleton, a couple of miles down the road, it's a lovely place for coffee and a snack.

Nice campsite in beautiful rural location, ideal if you like a low key holiday, once booked in & sited left to your own devices.

Pleasant walk around fishing ponds & different areas of campsite, if you like birds & wildlife this is the place for you.

Centrally located for all the coastal resorts & wildlife reserves, we have not visited Suffolk previously & loved the campsite & area.

Only minor complaint we had was hot water for showers & washup area could have been a little warmer but other than that recommended.

A deceptively large site spread over several different fields, which made each area look fairly compact, this site has a very pleasant and relaxed feel to it.

The camping field was in an area of its own, overlooking a meadow and would feel pleasantly removed from the caravans, campervans and motorhomes, although it would be quite a long walk to the nearest toilet block, which is near the site entrance.

This contained two loos and two showers each for men and women and was kept immaculately clean. The farther caravan field included a newer and larger toilet block.

The main area had a mix of hard-standing and grass pitches arranged around the sides of an open field and there were quite a few seasonal pitches containing caravans that were unoccupied when we were there, so there was plenty of privacy although when full, the lack of dividing hedges might be a problem.

The owners and staff were very pleasant and friendly and have clearly done a great deal to encourage wildlife in the surrounding area and have provided pleasant footpaths through it.

One of them is a lovely footpath straight from the campsite which runs through woodland and meadow, leading to the village of Darsham and the pub there (about 20-30 minutes away), which avoids needing to walk along the main roads and is an absolute delight.

There’s a small shop on site selling basics, and a farm shop (Emmerdale) not far down the road which is more like a supermarket, selling pretty much everything you’d need from fresh meat, veg and bread to wine and even postcards.

The only detraction was the rather basic motorhome service point, which had a grey water drain that was very close to the tap post, making it impossible to get the vehicle directly over it. The chemical waste disposal was just an old toilet bowl and was a bit smelly, but it all worked.

One of the best kept sites

Staff and owners should be congratulated on keeping this site true to its beginning, well done.

So nice to have well cut and marked dog walks and a must for those that enjoy wildlife

 Small campsite with good facilities.

We had our own pitch with our own water tap and electric supply (only needed for recharging phones!).

Perfect for going to Latitude and the coast on our bikes.
