This is a super site. The pitches are spacious. Midweek is very quiet as most of the seasonal owners are not there.
The two facilities blocks are kept spotless with plenty of hot water for showers and dishwashing. The small shop is very reasonably priced. There are plentiful water taps and all pitches are electric. It's good to have WIFI. Good mobile phone and TV reception. The owners are friendly and helpful.
Nearby RSPB Minsmere was a great day out, along with Southwold, and coastal walks at Thorpeness, Sizewell and Dunwich.

Firstly what a lovely little site, great helpful friendly staff and a nice little shop. Good stock and low prices. The pitch was big with lots of space for your own privacy. Showers and toilet block were always keep very immaculate. If you like fishing There is a lovely lake which my 12 year old daughter loved, she caught Tench, carp, Rudd and even saw the Orange Koi on many times on the surface. Nice dog walk sections and beach not far away. This is a fantastic site we will be going back!

We discovered Mill Hill about six years ago after becoming disillusioned with the nearby Cliff House holiday park, which had become too big for it's boots. We were recommended to try Mill Hill by a member of staff at the nearby Ship Inn at Dunwich.
We love Mill Hill. The site is immaculate, the owner, David, is passionate about wildlife, and has set aside much land on site for breeding birds such as skylark and turtle dove. The couple who run the site, Kat and Steve, are dedicated to giving their guests a lovely holiday. The site is beautiful, the facilities are spotless, the shop well stocked and very reasonable. It is close to RSPB Minsmere, Dunwich and the coast. It is refreshing to visit a camp site shop where the owners do not try to fleece you on everything they sell. Fresh vegetables such as asparagus are sold in the shop, as are local meats. Wildlife abounds, there is also a large fishing lake. Barn owls nest nearby and are regularly spotted hunting over the campsite, hunting between the caravans. There is plenty of space between the pitches. There is also a selection of second hand books for sale, all proceeds go to the local air ambulance, which is a nice touch. If you want a quiet site, where noise regulations are strictly adhered to, if you love to see wildlife, and if you love to stay in beautiful open countryside, then this is the site for you.

We stayed for 2 nights having booked at the last minute. Extremely well kept site, very helpful owners who even moved a picnic bench onto our pitch as we did not have enough room in our car to bring any chairs. Showers and toilets were always spotlessly clean and the soft grass is kept at a good length for tents. The site has fire pits available to hire which was an added bonus as we sat out long into the evening, it is a very peaceful site. Our pitch was spacious and level, close to reception and the showers and with a hookup and water tap. Some of the pitches in the Goldcrest meadow are sloping but the ones on Barn Owl meadow are generally flat.
We can recommend the excellent cooked breakfast at the farm shop and cafe just down the road and fish and chips on the beach in Aldeburgh. A fantastic base for exploring the coastal towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold and we would like to visit for longer.

First time visit to mill hill farm and it certainly will not be the last. Its rural location and first class facilities plus the friendly staff made for a great weeks holiday. Add in a little fishing and the close proximity of various seaside resorts, nature reserves and village pubs makes this site ideal. Showers and toilets were always clean and there is also a shop on site. We sat out at night watching the rabbits run around and the owls fly over what a peaceful place to be

A real gem of a site, there is plenty of space for everyone and the site is very well set out and has everything you could wish for. A lovely lake to walk beside, space for the kids to play and a lovely position to explore Suffolk. Owners are very helpful and a delight to deal with - nothing is too much trouble, we have stayed at this site many times and look forward to spending much more time there.

We stayed at Mill Hill Farm over the Easter weekend and had a great relaxing time although the weather did not play ball. The site is well run and the customer service is fantastic. The site is well laid out with pitches being a very good size. Shower and toilets are nice and clean and warm. The site has a great little shop that sells all the little necessary items, beer included, at a good price too. Will definitely be returning later in the year.

Possibly the best campsite in the world. , in our opinion. After buying our first caravan last summer, we have visited 4 or 5 times now (we live about 45 minutes away). We do like trying new areas and sites but can't beat/ fault this one. Just had our first visit this year. Personal and friendly service, immaculate toilet blocks (despite wet weather), extremely helpful (they pulled us off the grass with the tractor after we got stuck in soggy ground), peaceful, well-spaced pitches, clear rules about ball games, music, noise, etc. , a decent dedicated play area for kids, well-stocked shop, fire pits and logs available. We had a great Easter weekend, despite Storm Katie. Thank you! We are looking forward to coming back soon and will use your catering facilities as soon as they are up-and-running.
In terms of places to visit, we love Aldeburgh, Southwold, Dunwich Heath (NT - great scones!), Walberswick. Further afield, Orford and Orfordness. Haven't been to Minsmere yet but that is a stone's throw away. Great farm shop and cafe down the road. In Saxmundham you have Waitrose and Tesco opposite each other - pick your budget!

I am not sure we can add much to the reviews of this site except by saying it is excellent in everyway. Site is clean tidy everywhere and nice and quiet, owners loverly, we did not need 240v so were at the top of the tent field can could see for miles. Pitches are nice and large. We did not have any children with us but there is a small playground etc on the other field.
The on site shop is very affordable which makes a nice change and has most things you may need. The farm shop up the road has a cafe and a large choice of fresh produce etc.
We walked to the Bell in Middleton which took about 25 minutes and arrived just after 6 BUT we were told very nastly we would not get any food because we they were fully booked, the place was empty! the Chef overheard this rolled his eyes and walked off. If you want to eat there book a table or put on a very posh voice and say 'OK Yah' - he likes that!
A respectable local couple overheard the landlord and felt sorry for us and offered to take us to another pub so we went to Wenhaston Crown. They were busy but made us welcome and sorted a table out for us and we had a really good meal and nice beer.
So we will go back to the site- Yes, will we go back to the Bell- NO and would not recommend anyone to do so either.

A well run quiet campsite, Owners helpful and friendly, Clean shower/toilet blocks, Great location, This is one of the best campsites that we have been to, Great for exploring Suffolk, Plenty of hot water in showers which are clean, If you have small children facilities are limited with only a ball play area, Well stocked shop on site, Some traffic noise if you get put near the road but not excessive, Would recommend.
