Only stayed for 2 nights, wish it had been for longer! Arrived slightly early, but no problems were shown to our pitch straight away.
What a lovely quiet site. We had a huge pitch which fitted our 6/7 Berth tent in easily.
I like the fact that you are not on top of anyone else.
The separate ball field is a very good idea, great for cricket!
The site was very quiet by around 9pm no screaming children or loud music, just perfect.
Ideal for visiting Aldeburgh and Walberswick.
The showers were lovely and hot (push button though) and clean, toilets always had loo roll in.
The only moan I have is the after 2pm check in. It's rather late especially if only staying 2 nights, the time you've got the tent pitched, most if the day is gone.

Since arriving at this site we knew it was great for us.
The toilets and showers were nice and clean, Kat the owner was very helpful, she was very friendly and would always have a warm smile. Do not go to the phone box at Darsham, it is covered in spiders and cobwebs!
Easy to get to off the A12 go towards Westleton.
The pitches were nice and large and the wardens were always busy each day. If you have a dog you can take it for a walk round the over an acre dog walk.
Dog food and toys are in the shop.
This is the site to go to for peace and quiet. Do go.

We have wanted to visit Suffolk for a while & we chose this site after reading reviews on here. We weren't disappointed. The staff are very friendly & welcoming & we were escorted to our pitch on arrival. The pitch sizes are very generous & the site is very peaceful, great for getting away from it all. The toilets & showers were clean & there was always plenty of hot water, toilet roll, soap & paper towel. Fresh water taps are within easy distance of the tents & there is a rubbish/recycling area close to reception. The dog walking area is ideal for letting your four legged friends get some exercise & do their business & there are bins provided for waste. There is a small shop in the reception which sells essentials goods, right down to tents pegs! The site is ideally situated for Southwold, RSPB MInsmere, Dunwich Heath & Aldeburgh. We will definitely return, for longer next time!

A wonderfully relaxing site, really quiet, and very helpful wardens, and easy to access from the A12. This is our third stay and always enjoyable. Beautiful surrounding area, with plenty to see and do. Particularly enjoyed our visit to Leiston Long Shop Museum this time, well worth a visit. Only one slight disappointment. The upper facilities are very nice, spotless, but the facilities on the lower site left something to be desired in terms of cleaning. The wardens appear to be overstretched and could do with an additional cleaner. But the site has been enhanced by a children's football area, a covered picnic area, more space, a good dog walk area and mowing with a grass collection box. We shall return.

We discovered this site about three or four years ago, after over ten years spent camping at another nearby site which had become upmarket and seemed to be pushing campers out we decided to find another site. What a find. Both Kat, Steve and David are on site every day, the shop is well stocked and very reasonable and the site is exceptionally well maintained. It is a credit to all the team. It is very handy for RSPB Minsmere, where we spend most days of our holiday. I cannot recommend this site highly enough. We look forward to returning each year and are looking forward to returning once again this summer. There are many nearby pubs which serve very good food, and Westleton is only a ten to fifteen minute walk away.

We had two nights at Mill Hill Farm. The site appears relatively new and is in a lovely peaceful location overlooking farmland.
The facilities are good, with an excellently stocked shop and a shower and toilet block in each field. The only thing that let it down slightly is that they needed a proper clean. There was dust and cobwebs on the windowsills that had been there a long time.
The price was good and there were no additional costs for dogs, awnings, fishing etc.
We cycled into Westleton which is about a mile away and has two pubs a shop, art gallery and book shop. The Crown is a lovely pub with a beautiful garden at the rear, but is quite expensive and up market. The other pub is a friendly place with good food and a nice pint of Adnams.
I am sure we will visit again.

Very nice quiet site with very helpful staff and we will certainly go back again. The site is very close to the A12 and Minsmere is very near for bird watching. There is a very good farm shop on the same road as the site for provisions. I have only one criticism - the shower temperature is far too hot for me and cannot be adjusted. I heard a child getting upset because the mother could not adjust the temperature - what a shame it would have scored 10 otherwise.

The pitches on this site are very large and it is very quiet. The managers are friendly and welcoming and located us near to our shower block because of my health problems. We love Southwold and Aldborough and there are superb farm shops nearby selling fresh local produce. The only problem we encountered was the state of the shower block, The toilets didn't seem to be cleaned every day and my husband said there was a very bad smell in the gents. The ladies toilets were adequate but the showers didn't appear to be cleaned all week and the floor remained the same all week with the same litter that I spotted on the first day. I know the mangers were very busy but I do expect showers and toilets to be at the same level of cleanliness in which I keep my own.

Great campsite, run by friendly people who are not greedy and devote the campsite to generous size pitches and a large dog walk area. The campsite is situated perfectly for trips into Aldeburgh, Southwold and Framlingham. There are 2 supermarkets in Saxmundham about 10 mins drive away.
The campsite is very peaceful and has an on site shop with fresh bread daily and a coffee machine, all items reasonably priced.
There are 2 shower/toilet blocks, one in each field and despite visiting at the end of the May half term week the site was not overcrowded and there was never a wait for the showers which were always clean with plenty of hot water. Hair dryer is provided too.
We had a pitch next to the playing field which was great for our children and is opposite the dog walk area so we were not overlooked. The site does advertise its a quiet site between 9pm and 8am, everyone respected this rule so you did not have to listen to other inconsiderate campers which we have experienced elsewhere.
This a gem of a campsite and because we had such good weather spent most of our afternoons on site enjoying the sunshine so we didn't do any walks but that gives us an excuse to come back.

A great site, with two lovely fields, each with own washroom facilities. A mixture of tents and vans on field two, which works very well. Electric hook ups and a little shop for essentials. Obliging and friendly wardens. Easy to access from the A12, and very close to Dunwich Beach, and Minsmere.
