Many thanks to George & Evelyn who greeted us warmly on our arrival and were very friendly. We only stayed one night on our way from John O' Groats to Lands End on a motorcycle charity run and could not have been treated better.
We were even allowed to come in early to pitch our tent en route to John O' Groats to save us doing it in the dark on our return. Site is very clean and well looked after.
It was that well maintained we noticed (the following morning) that the grass had been cut after we headed out on our journey North. Showers were very clean and a lot better and hotter than some sites I have been on.
I can highly recommend this site even after only one night and think it would serve as a great base if you want to tour the Perthshire area. Seems to be a popular place as when we got back at night the site had filled up considerably. Once again, thanks for the welcome and attention we were given.

Stayed 2 nights in a micro lodge, it was superb! Staff on site so friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers are one of the most spotless on a camp site I have ever seen!
Very child friendly - play ground on site, horses in a field beside the site (our 3 year old twins spent a lot of time just watching them!)and Noahs Ark soft play only a minute walk away (discount for those staying on site).
Also go karting and ten pin bowling are within the Noahs Ark complex. And a golf practice range for those who want to polish up n their driving and pitching whilst they are there.
Micro Lodges are great, slept 4 comfortably, state of the art TV with inbuilt DVD to keep kids happy if weather not the best. Fridge, kettle and a heater provided a bit of additional 'luxury' that you couldn't get in a tent!
Each lodge has its own picnic table and benches, just bring your own BBQ or stove. And for a little bit of 'ambience' each lodge has its own set of solar power fairy lights attached to a nearby tree. Speaking of lighting, lodges have both indoor and outdoor lighting too.
Minor quibble is that the lodges could do with a bit more shelving or cup hooks as we had to store eveything under the main bed, the latch of which was quite heavy to open. But this was only a very minor criticism. On the whole, the lodges are brilliant value for money and something a bit different!
The micro lodges are new in this year. I would suggest some bushes are planted to run along the edge of the golf range to provide a bit of shelter from some strong winds that you can be exposed to when sitting outside the lodges at the picnic benches or when lodge doors are open. (the site is at the top of a hill).
That said, the scenery is fantastic and during a warm summers evening, it would be a shame to obstruct such a view with shrubbery. Just make sure you wrap up warm - its Scotland after all so no guarantees on the weather front!
From talking to those caravaners and campers staying there whilst we were there, they all were very complementary of the site. And these were seasoned pros - not like us - so it must be good!
Only thing missing is a store on site. That said, there is a well stocked Co-Op only 10 minute walk away so wasn't really an issue for the couple of nights we were staying there.
I would recommend Noahs Ark to anyone deciding to stay in the Perth area. What George and Evelyn are developing with that site is really quite special. And if you opt to stay in one of the micro lodges, you certainly wont be disappointed!
Highly recommended !

We stayed in a Hobbit Hut for 2 nights at Noah' Arc and absolutley loved it! Our Son is 2 and a half and has not stopped talking about it since we came home! The staff are all amazing and so helpful. The site is clean and very well maintained.
The shower / toilet block is spotless, as is the washing up area. The on-site activities are excellent - we visited the soft play which was well managed, given the large volume of children!
There is also ten pin bowling, ceramics workshop and go karting. We would highly recommend the Hobbit Huts and are planning our return trip!

(Mid August) What more can I add that others have not,.Excellent site (Once you find it!), water points in good positions, great play area, if I had any grumps it would be that the ground was a bit bumpy and horses dung was here and there, but hey welcome to the countryside!
Very popular and busy site, the new toilet and shower block is brilliant. I would also recommend tents to pitch further down the field, away from the shower and toilet block, as you get more space and the drainage is much better. We noticed that during a very heavy shower that the tents up near the toilets were beginning to sit in a lake!
The wardens are very friendly and helpful and next time I want to visit the area, which is quite likely as their is lots to do, I will definitely use again..Will we be back?.Definitely!

A very busy site right on the outskirts of Perth (about a 5 to 10 minute drive). This means, of course, that there is hardly a lack of things to see or do which is good because the rest of the facilities in the complex - Karting, golf, cafe, ten pin bowling etc, all seemed to be shut at just the time you would expect them open, which is disappointing to say the least!
The site itself is generally fairly flat and quite well appointed. There never seemed to be a shortage of hot water and the toilets were kept clean despite the fact that, the weekend we were there, the site was at capacity.
Traffic noise form the A9, which is just the other side of a hedge and down a small bank from the site, could be seriously annoying to light sleepers or anyone not used to it but, if it's not going to bother you, don't let it put you off.

A very good site we arrived during a downpour but it dried out later. As the person said earlier the tent pitches near the toilets get flooded easy but apart from that the site is very good. It is very well run and the toilets+showers are clean the Grandkids enjoyed the softplay area and the site is handy for the town also a Tesco is nearby for shopping

This camp site was really good. We're just back from it today. The owners were lovely people very helpful and allowed us to take a look around the hobbits which are so cool, the kids wanted to stay in them. The ground was a little uneven but that didn't stop us having a good time. There was loads of things to do around the camp site and in Perth. The camp site was so easy to find and we never got any complaints about our noise as I had 4 teenage girls with me who like to enjoy themselves. So all round a great camping trip I will definitely use this site again

Stayed over a weekend with two other families (one in a caravan and the other in another tent).
It was great that we were all able to pitch together.
Weather was very good.
Toilets and showers were all clean when we were there. However, closed for an hour in the middle of the day to allow cleaning. Not sure if they would stay as clean if the weather wasn't good.
Children's play area was good quality.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Although we didn't use the adjacent facilities, they looked good.

We were very impressed with the campsite. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was lots of facilities such as shower rooms with hair dryers, washing machines, tumble dryers, baby changing. There is also a lovely park for the kids to play at. There was also a big soft play area next to it which had bowling and go karts which the kids loved. There was also a crazy golf next to site. The site is very clean. There is shops and take aways not far from it also. Me and my family enjoyed our 1st time camping here and will be back again.

Every review I have read about this site has been good however my experience was not. I am a wheelchair user so when I booked I made sure the disabled facilities were good and they told me everything was in hand and my pitch was booked. When we arrived my allocated space was double booked, the wardens were friendly enough and said sorry.
They gave us the choice to move the next day but that would cause a lot of work and the original spot looked too muddy for a wheelchair anyway.
The next problem came when I tried to use the disabled facilities. They are in the new toilet block and to get to them you have to cross the car park, problem was the car park is made of gravel and very big stones that my wheelchair could not get across. T
The only two solutions for me to use the facilities were to go to the tenpin bowling alley or put my wheelchair in the car and drive across the car park. Once in the brand new toilet block I had to go down one narrow corridor turn left and the disabled toilet/shower were at the end, the room was very small and I had to move a full bucket of water and mop out the way to get into the room every time I went in.
Once in there was a toilet, sink and shower, these were usable but very small and awkward and the lack of handrails didn’t make it any easier. The things missing in the room was soap and somewhere or something to dry my hands.
If you are able bodied it does seem to be a great site though but try not to pitch near the reception as it does seem a lot more wet in the rain and can be a bit on the smelly side because it is in between the main bins and chemical waste area.
We found that where we were pitched we had to use rock pegs but didn’t mind as it had great drainage. There are horses in the field next to the park and it really is something special to sit by your tent and watch the horses. The tenpin area looks a lot of fun if you have kids or are a big kid yourself although it does look a bit expensive.
