4 of us cycled from John O'Groats to Lands End, in August 2011. Raising monies for Alzhimers, Help for Heroes, MENCAP & Children with Cancer. We had a 4 man tent and a white van as our support vehicle. We were kindly allowed to stay, even though we got there late.
The toilets were clean and the showers were great, and that's all we needed.
But whilst supping a well deserved beer in the evening, all the families around us were enjoying themselves, playing football, cricket, frisbee etc, bbq's going, smelling very tempting.
And the warden running it we great, driving our support drivers wife to and from the shower block in his little golf buggy, a true gentleman.
Cant really comment about surroundings as we pitched up and went to bed fairly early knowing we had another hard day cycling in front of us, but a big tesco just a few minutes away ( it was 1 of the check out girls who told us about the place )
A cracking place and would highly recommend to anybody.

Just back from a 3 night stay, and all I can say is well done to the very friendly wardens on site, who go out their way to stand and have a chat with you, and I might add opened up reception for me so that I could buy a bbq as it was a last minute decision to have 1.
Toilets are cleaned day and night but would be cleaner if lazy people on site picked up their dropped loo roll from floor and mopped up the showers after using.
Had been raining and was raining but we had no worries about flooding on site.
Yes it is a field, but as for no scenery, people must have been walking about with eyes shuts.
Lots of things to do in and near site as to the only time we left site was to get shopping from nearby supermarkets.
Noise pollution, none, yes you are close to motorway but such that it just becomes background noise and certainly didn't keep any of us awake at night or wakened us in the morning.
Place is clearly signposted from the time you leave the broxden roundabout(again maybe eyes were closed).
Looking forward to booking in a micropod soon for a weekend.
We would definitely recommend this site to anyone who asks us.

Just returned from a 1 night stay at Noah's Ark. This place was highly recommended by people on the internet and our neighbours too, so we were desperate to visit it ourselves. Unfortunately we did not find that this place lived up to it's reputation.
We were hoping to stay for the 2 nights this weekend, but decided not to pay for the additional night quite soon into arriving.
Firstly, the place is not clearly sign posted and was extremely tricky to find - right at the top of housing estate. Then, we arrived to find it was basically a field, with tents and caravans in it.
No nice landscaping, no scenery, no views, no plants, a basic small play area aimed at younger children (however there was plenty un-supervised bigger children climbing all over the equipment pushing younger ones around!) There was a burger van on the site - we only bought chips but they were okay, but pricey at £1. 60!
Toilets were a bit dodgy - wet/puddly floors (not sure if this was just water or urine) and loo paper scattered on the floors on a few occasions too. Did not use showers in the morning as we decided to pack up an head home early, so don't know if they were clean or not.
I believe that the site does benefit from being next door to a golf range and soft play area etc, and perhaps others will enjoy and benefit from these, but unfortunately our stay was cut short by the noise pollution problem and disappointment with the location/overall look of the site.
It has put us off from returning I am afraid.

Noah's Ark is Simply The bst campsite in Perth
Summary
Courteous Respectful Yet Very Friendly Staff kind and Considerate Assistance Available at all hours of the day.
Cleanliness, Seeing is Believing. Regular Thorough Cleaning and stocking of supplies throughout the Day is paramount to these clean presentable facilities.
Disability Access available to most if not all areas.
Extremely Helpful Staff, Willing to assist in any way possible in order to make our visit a pleasurable and memorable one.
Superb Entertainment Available for all the family.
Excellent central location for easy shopping, restaurants and other entertainment.
ACCESS & PARKING:
An easy one way traffic system is incorporated for safe access to Noah’s Ark Caravan Park site. Ample parking is available for everyone, whether you are using the superb Wooden Micro Lodges, tenting, caravanning or using a mobile home, each pitch has plenty of room, even when you travel with others and have more than one car, even this is no problem as an extra parking area is available.
PITCHES:
We used one of the many Hard Standings pitches, hard ground pegs are required for pegging down an awning, despite this on retrieval I am pleased to say not one peg was bent or damaged. The surrounding grass area is easy pegging. Rain Water Drainage is very good, we encountered some of the worst rain fall on one day and during the night, the drainage is really good throughout the site, even the pitch we used was dry within a few hours of the rain stopping. Not one puddle remained. All Electric hook-ups were in excellent condition. Safe to use and fully protected against wet weather.
SHOWERS & OTHER UTILITIES:
The Shower and Toilet Blocks are regularly maintained, the shower cubicles are modern with auto lighting, ample pegs and adequate space. Continuous Hot water was available day and night. Washing-up and Laundry facilities are both excellent. Though we did not use the washing machines or tumble dryers all were in very good condition. We would have used with confidence if the need had arisen.
The Refuse & Waste Water areas are very neatly laid out, screened off and include an efficient recycling bin system.
ON SITE & NEAR BY LEISURE ACTIVITIES:
At the top end of the site there is an ideal play park for young children with swings and slides, attached to a level green that has plenty room for children to play ball etc. At the opposite end of the site the entertainment includes activities for all ages including Archery and Quad Bikes, softer play areas for the little ones, bouncy castles and slides, bungee jumping with trampolines, zorbing, wall climbing and more. If that’s not enough then within short walking distance from the site, you will find ten pin bowling, go carting, arcades, crazy golf, fitness centre, soft play barn and more.
ON SITE HOT FOOD VAN:
A Well Known Local Butcher Supplies the Quality Lean Meat used at the hot snacks bar, which also supplies drinks, sweets and ice creams, discounts were regularly offered and very friendly courteous family staff serving.
The Noah's Ark Caravan Site is very well organized and maintained to an extremely high standard. The safety of all site users is paramount, with fire points and emergency equipment in accessible locations, there are also regular Police patrols which assist in maintaining safety.
My Family and I attend the annual Jehovah’s Witness Convention, for which this site could not be better suited and located. We really appreciate all the assistance given to us from the staff at Noah’s Ark Caravan Site. We would recommend this site to everyone, try it for yourself you will not be disappointed.
Although the rating system on this page is rated with max of 10 out of 10. I would say overall rating is excellent.

Just back from a fantastic weekend at Noah's Ark Caravan site, just outside Perth. The site is beautifully maintained and the pitches are spacious, although the site was very quiet we would have had plenty of room for our caravan and awning even on a busy day. You are able to pick your own pitch. We chose to pitch on the perimeter of the site, and realised that this was the side nearest the A9, there was some noise from the traffic but this soon became almost unnoticeable and it did not keep us awake at night. Pitches are grass or hardstanding, we chose grass. There are no shops on site but there is a row of shops about a 10 min walk away, a fair sized Co-Op that provides the basics, and a really good selection of take aways, that all seemed to deliver to the site, we had the fish and chips on our first night and they were great!
There is a small but adequate play park for the kids, and at the bottom of the site they have set up a kind of 'adventure' area that has a range of activities to do, bouncy castle, quads, archery, all of which costs varying amounts of money but were reasonably priced and kept our two (9 & 11) excited with anticipation until they could try some of the things on offer. They loved the activities and were happy to do what they usually do on site for the rest of the time: ride their bikes and make friends.
The shower blocks are unisex, very clean and well maintained, no key, open access at all times which I think is great as there is no need to be passing keys back and forward between different people. Hairdryers are plentiful, there is a lovely adapted wet room for those with mobility difficulties, and a separate toilet block, again with more dryers: very clean and well kept.
Day 2 for us was rainy all day (typical Scotland) but there was no shortage of indoor things to do, Noah's the playbarn next door was just fantastic, you get a 20% discount voucher when you arrive at reception to use in the Playbarn, go-karts, etc. We didn't eat there but the food look amazing, home made baking too - very nice. There is also an activity centre right next door, golf driving range, honestly, this is a fantastic site that I imagine will be well booked up in advance during the school holidays - we have already booked again for July.
All in all this would be a great base for a longer break, there is loads to do within a short drive from the site, either up the A9 or perhaps heading into Stirling way (about 30 mins away in the car). Kids loved this site and so did we, looking forward to getting back already, one of the best we have stayed at. A well deserved 10/10.

Spent 2 nights camping under canvas and found the route to Noahs Ark signposted with tourist signs (brown) entered Perth via slipway to football stadium.
Went solely for the karting at adjacent complex within 1 minute walkin distance with my son, Has twin seaters so 3 year olds and up can go with a parent. Also soft play which was extremely busy on the Saturday but worth it as inside their was bouldering wall, and zipline too (cost small charge extra)
My son spent hours at the playground on camp which was in excellent condition.
Loads to do including golf, bouncy castles trampolining (some weather dependant) etc.
Tiolet block in great condition and shower blocks are unisex which was great for me and my pal to form an conveyor belt with kids to get them showered and dressed! Made life easy! Hairdryers provided and in working condition recently updated?
Cant comment on laundry facilities as didn't use them.
Washing up Station in good working order with plenty of sinks and looked very clean.
Local coop, chinese and chippy about 2/3 mins in the car, tescos maybe 10 mins approx by car.
Thoroughly enjoyed my weekend here, despite the poor weather!

Just had 3 nights in a microlodge as a base to explore Perthshire. We didn't find it to be a particularly easy place to get to, but once you are there, the site has it all sewn up for families! -
children's playground on site, outdoor activity centre, mini golf, driving range, bowling, karting and children's soft play all in the immediate vicinity (possibly all run by the same people I expect). We were really impressed with the facilities.
Tents and motorhomes are on the main grass field with 6 microlodges under the trees in a wood chipped strip over looking the driving range to the side.
Lovely and quiet and private facing the setting sun. Warm and comfortable with a fridge, kettle, microwave, telly and heater. The toilet block is excellent.
They have thought about what people with families need. The main block is unisex which I think is excellent, both parents can be in there with children, swap over etc. There are toilets and sinks in cubicles for privacy and ease of dealing with children.
The showers are spacious with plenty of places to put shower gel, towels, clothes etc. (Hairdriers are provided but maintainence on them needed).
We didn't have need for the laundry area on this visit but often do when camping and it looked excellent.
Take away menus are provided for all the local places who will deliver to site!
We used the soft play and bowlng while there. The softplay is excellent and the bowling good too.

Arrived about 10am,, After a warm welcome, was given a few options of where to setup camp. Was asked if I needed anything or needed a hand, just ask.
First thing you notice when you drive through is that the site is very clean and well maintained.
Area flat and large enough for a 10 man tent.
ECU, bin area and water tap close by.( one late camper was just out of reach of ECU, site supplied extension
Showers and Toilets, first class. Never had to wait for shower, and water always hot.
Washing-up and Laundry.
Spotless and well maintained, plugs for sinks supplied.
Things to Do.
Loads for kids as the Climbing wall and activities down bottom of field. 1 token = £1.25
Bowling, Karting and Kids play area first class. Only moan is closes at 21.00hrs on a Saturday night, (champions league final)
In house food, bit expensive, chippy and indian less than 5 mins away, McDonalds 5mins in other direction, have to say,, kids didn't even work out, it was that close hehehehehehe
Food Trailer at bottom of site,, poor,, wouldn't bother,, cheap frozen chips. Dont think has anything to do with site.
First class site, would recommend 100%

A very warm welcome awaits you at this site from Carol and Jim. Being new to caravanning we were almost clueless but were soon put at ease by the help and advice from very friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
The toilet's were spotless the playground small but great for the children. The site itself is very well kept and at the bottom of the park is the outdoor centre with slides, archery, shooting etc and soon to have lots more added.
Shops are nearby and takeaways will deliver to the site. There is a burger van at the bottom of the site which is open daily and buses into Perth town centre are very regular but you can drive in to town in 10 minutes.24 Tesco is 5 minute drive away.
The site is a perfect base for exploring Scotland although Perth itself has loads to offer for everyone.
I cannot recommend this site highly enough and although its not like the large all in sites, its great value for money and they are making progress and changes (all for the good) all the time.
Give this site a try, it really is a hidden gem.

Stayed at noahs ark in April in a tent. Had choice where to pitch as quite quiet in the tent area.
Pitch was good flat ground with EHU.
Lovely safe playground for kids with picnic tables.
The toilets/showers were lovely and warm also spotless.Small toilet for kids, which my daughter loved!
The owners are friendly and helpful, also let us stay till the following evening with no extra charge.
There is no shop on site, but 5min walk there is a general store, also couple of take-aways (will try this week as going back)
Noah ark play barn is fantastic for kids, also go carts, bowling, driving range. Also the cafe does good food and coffee.
The weekend we stayed there was bouncy slides, castles, and other stuff set up at bottom of the site, with a burger van (looked tasty) think it was staying for the summer (will find out this week)
All in all great site which can only get better as they are planting hedges, extending the tent area, etc.
Leaving soon for another weekend (will be able to check the drainage as looks like rain)
