This was our first outing with our new tent. I contacted George on the Friday afternoon, and he told us he would be able to look after us. We arrived about 2 hrs later and spoke to George and Evelyn who we know, from our time working together, and I've got to say you won't find two people more committed to making sure that guests using the campsite are looked after and made to feel welcome, nothing is too much trouble.
The campsite itself is well set out and very clean with a nice play park and a very nice new toilet/shower block. We were also impressed with the Microlodges, which we were able to have a look at during our stay, and we are hoping to sometime in the future to make use of the site again, either with our tent (or maybe a tourer) or if available one of the Microlodges.

I've stayed in a microlodge before but not as luxurious as Noah's Ark! Having your own personal microwave rather than the ususal communal one made it so much easier and having the fridge was fantastic - cold milk and drinks on tap! The TV had a DVD facility so the children brought their favourites to watch when they were tucked up in sleeping bags at night. As I was on my own with two girls the big plus for me was that I could lock the doors at night.
There's everything you need on site - first class personal facilities, helpful friendly staff, its well maintained and the soft play etc are great if the weather isn't good.
Nearby there's supermarkets and takeaways. The bus service into Perth city centre is every 10mins from the end of the road which was a great adventure! The swimming pool in Perth is fantastic - the full moon flume is quite an experience!
My girls are counting the days until we return!

On our visit we found the site to be well maintained and the toilets and showers were very clean and of a good standard. Our kids enjoyed the play park which is quite basic but met their needs.
The location is fantastic for seeing Perth. The weather was pretty grotty for most of our stay so having the soft play centre next door and Perth on our doorstep was very useful.
I would definitely use this site again if I needed the campsite for its' location for site seeing. However the noise of the A9 is constant so if I wanted a more relaxed, sitting around the campsite type of break, I would maybe choose a more rural location.
I would also recommend tents to pitch further down the field, away from the shower and toilet block, as you get more space and the drainage is much better. We noticed that during a very heavy shower that the tents up near the toilets were beginning to sit in a lake!
The wardens are very friendly and helpful and next time I want to visit the area, which is quite likely as their is lots to do, I will definitely use again.

Spent a few days camping with my partner and kids, 14,11,3, and 1, at the site.
I found the wardens (George and Wife) very helpful and friendly, the site was also very tidy.
All facilities were well maintained and very child orientated.
Small playpark for the children is handy to keep the young ones occupied, Shower rooms very spacious and well thought out. Laundry room was clean and tidy.
On-site, as such, was a Driving range, Adventure golf, Karting, 10-pin Bowling, Softplay, some amusements (Pool tables, driving games). And there is a discount when staying, A very big help when everything is x4.
Only thing would be if it was open later, even if only for residents.
There was also an Ice-cream van that comes round at night, Absolutely spot-on, A great surprise for the kids and I.
Nearby is a large Tesco, an indian/chinese/chip shop, Co-op, and also 10 mins drive into perth for a cracking swimming pool/ice rink.
Overall a great, relaxing time.
I might try the new micro-lodges next time as I will be going back.

This has to be one of the best sites I've visited out of the hundreds I've been to over the years.
The site itself is very well maintained, with plenty of space for the large number of vans and tents which descended when I was there! The facilities are immaculate, and the showers are nice and spacious.
There isn't a shop on site, but you only have a 10 minute walk to the local co-op, and it's only a 5 minute drive to Tesco.
What puts this site head and shoulders above other high standard sites is the staff. They can't do enough for you. Both the wardens, and the owner make you feel very welcome, and any problems, you know they are there to help.
Definitely be back in the not too distant future.

Lovely site. Owners very friendly and helpful. Showers and toilets immaculate, 5 star couldn't ask for better.
No shop on site but 5 min drive to tesco makes up for this. Main road nearby a little noisy at night but that's camping life
Lovely little playpark for kids. When we were there an ice cream van came on site as well
The bowling, golf and karting were all next to the site and were reasonably priced.
Stayed for a week and would use again and recommend this.

Nice site, lovely clean facilities. Large tent field, which did feel a wee bit impersonal and was bit of a walk to the toilets, especially with kids in tow. Not enough showers in morning for peak season but probably fine rest of the time. Soft play and go karts were fantastic. Right near a large Tesco which was handy, but took away some of the authentic camping feel. Would return, but not one of my favourites.

We stayed at this site with our two teenage daughters, with a touring caravan for a few days and just loved it! Definitely go back!
The wardens were so friendly, welcoming and very helpful. They made you feel at ease from the moment you arrived.
The newly built toilet / shower facilities were excellent and immaculately clean.
Pitches are very spacious, and when you arrive there's none of the formalities of some other sites, just pitch up where you like and relax, all very laid back. Just fabulous!
Next to the site there is Noah's Ark Golf range, Bowling alley, Karting, soft play area, restaurant etc. Everything you need to keep the family amused!
For something a bit different, check out the micro lodges on site, they are just awesome!
A great alternative to tents if you don't want to rough it.
I would recommend this site to anyone, just fantastic
Very convenient for shops, parks, swimming pool, ice rink etc in Perth too. Plenty to do.

On the face of it this looks like a great site. The facilities are modern and plentiful.
We have just come back from a week stay there which we eventually cut short. Last night the closest we could park our car to our tent was 100ft away. Tents were being pushed into every last inch of space in a way that was no only unpleasant for us campers (who wants to hear your neighbours every noise?)
I will also add a couple of other points that I thought were questionable. Firstly we were told on arrival that our 350 beta vango tent qualified as a 'large' tent as would be charged as such. It's not exactly a monster like some tents are - you can't even stand up in it! So I also begrudge the fee we were expected to pay.
And secondly I stared at the same footprint on the floor of the toilets for three days. Yes the toilets, showers and sinks themselves were regularly cleaned, but the floors seemed to have been skipped over more than once.
Out of season this will probably be a pretty good little site as it has all mod cons

Nice clean site with very helpful wardens. Very easy to find (just off the A9) at Perth. Useful as a stop-over going North or South.
Local services (Indian takeaway, store, etc.) very near. Nearby Morrisons (with fuel) - just on the other side of the junction with the A9.
Toilets, showers (free), etc. All very clean and with special child areas in them.
A little bit noisy due to the proximity of the A9, but as a stop over, perfectly OK. Would use again.
Great views of the distant hills and countryside.
Quite new - wardens told us they'd hoped to get more hard-standings in (for campervans) but were beaten by the weather - look out for them next year. We parked on grass and it was fine.
