Me and my Fiance visited the Noah's Ark park as a good place to stay ahead of the Rewind Festival at Scone Palace.
Can't praise the site enough, excellent support from the Site Warden Jim who helped us with our hook up and cracking facilities on your door step.
Whats more for the Festival the Site owner laid on a courtesy bus to Scone on both days which he drove himself, he even provided free water and locally cooked fresh Scotch Pies to help with any festival over indulgence.
Frankly if you want a base for your Rewind Festival experience I'm not sure you can do better.

We were at Noah's ark for 4 days, staying 3 nights. We really enjoyed our time there and would certainly go back. We were a large party of 4 tents and 9 kids.
It is great if you want to go somewhere that is handy for activities which are right on your doorstep. It is not a place to choose if you want peace and natural/secluded surroundings.
It is a great place if you are having a very rainy trip due to the activities next to the site. At the bottom of the park there is The Edge outdoor activity centre with quads, pedal go-carts, archery etc and at the top of the park there is putting, a golf driving range ten pin bowling, Karting, Kids soft play (fantastic with lovely staff and great food in the cafe - I recommend the kids macaroni cheese). You get a 20% discount for all this stuff if you're staying on the campsite too (but not at The Edge).
The toilets and showers were very good(plenty nice hot water)and there were enough taps in the site for us for drinking water. Washing and tumble machines were nice and new. As the site was fairly quiet, there was never a wait to use anything.
My criticisms of the site are not something that the site can help as they are due to the site's location and appearance. You work with what you've got I suppose and it was obviously a working farm previously with plenty unattractive but functional buildings nearby which are now housing the Soft Play and bowling etc.
It's worst point is that it's sited above a busy dual carriageway which is beyond the trees which can be heard all day and night at a low level thundering away (the sound of the rain hitting the tent was a welcome break from that)and right next to some kind of telecoms building with lots of unattractive transmitters (3 of them), and near a substation with pylons.
Looking into the distance however you can see a very long distance across the hills which is picturesque. It is a very open site and you can see for miles.
There is a lack of privacy as there is limited shrubbery which lends a bit of a barren look. After two days of torrential rain it was very difficult to get about due to puddles and mud, there was a bit of a river running along the main path.
There is no shop, lounge or drinks machine but most of that is catered for by the other Noah's Ark premises next to it. We were just under 60 quid for our three (non-electric) nights with our 3 man tent. I thought that a little dear to be honest.
You wouldn't have to have a car as I think we could have probably walked to a bus stop to get into town well within 20 mins (we never tried it). Friends we were with who don't drive took the train and got a taxi there at reasonable cost and convenience. Perth itself is lovely with a very good tourist information office.

With 2 young kids we were looking for a campsite that had plenty to do to keep them occupied.
I called up as a last minute booking and there was an available pitch.
From arrival the staff we very nice and I was guided to my pitch, the hook ups, toilets, showers serve for no complaints and I was very satisfied.
This site was busy and many children were at the outdoor park including my own. There is also a grass area for football or other out door games.
On site the crazy golf, ten pin bowling, indoor play centre were fantastic to have on the door step, my kids had a ball.
Tesco and coop is 2 mins away by car.
Would I go back? Yes with no hesitation!

Excellent site.
Lovely little playground, lots of other facilities were discounted but we didn't have time to visit as we were just stopping over.
Plenty of pitches around a central play area so you can keep an eye out for your kids - important to us.
Immaculate washing up, toilets and shower block.
Good to find showers with a turn on/off handle instead of time delayed push button type and plenty of hooks on the wall - you can never have enough hooks!
Staff were very helpful - even lending a jump start when we left our fridge running all night and drained our battery.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this site to any of my friends.

We spent 5 nights here in the sunshine. On arrival we were asked to choose our own pitch which was great, I picked hardstanding, it was fine and level as are most of the pitches.
The toilets and showers were dated but clean with plenty warm water.
There is no shop but the local co-op was only 10 min walk or 2 min drive away.
It is only 5 min walk to bus stop to get into Perth where there was loads to see and do ie shops, lovely walks along river, museums etc.
My only problem with this site was the noise from the main road that passes by but would not stop me from returning for a long weekend sometime.

Great site about 10 minutes from Perth city centre.
Wardens very friendly, toilet and shower facilities clean and well maintained. Showers were not the push button type and were plenty warm. Nice big pitches, choice of grass or hard standing.
Playground on site for smaller children, Plenty to do for older kids - crazy golf, karting, tenpin bowling - you get a 20% discount for the bowling, karting and indoor softplay area when you arrive. There is a decent cafe within the tenpin/karting area. The site is 10 minutes from Perth Leisure Pool and Dewars Ice-rink.
Co-op and Chinese/ indian takeaway 2 minute drive from site.
All in all we had a busy and enjoyable stay.

When we arrived on site we found the staff were very friendly and allowed us to choose our pitch.
We opted for a grass pitch beside the play area (3 energetic children).
It had rained non stop for the full day when we arrived and we found the grass beside the caravan became quite muddy, although once the rain stopped it dried up quickly.
The site is very well signposted although we had done our homework before hand.
The toilet/shower blocks were cleaned regularly and although the pitches were quite muddy the toilets were clean the showers also surpassed expectations.
The kids play ground was good and my 3 had a ball playing on it.
The soft play/bowling on site were reasonable and offered discounted rates if you stay on site.
We read in previous reviews about the noise level from the adjacent road but its certainly not intrusive.
Being on the outskirts of perth you have everything within 2 miles. I recommend the balal palace takeaway!
We will definitely go back next year for a long weekend! but will opt for a hard standing pitch.

Hello,
I know I took a very long time to write this review and it felt really unjust. I was there a couple a years ago, I was visiting Scotland on my own. As I got to Perth I called the owner of the campsite to know if they had a space for my tent. They were ever so nice to me! As I was by foot, they picked me up to go to the site. They took very good care of me for the two days I was there. I hope everything blossomed since. Thank you for your kindness.

Stayed here in one of the Microlodges for one night in August for my birthday weekend. Was meant to be a two night stay policy however we were lucky to be accepted for staying just the one night.
The Microlodge was lovely, bigger than I had imagined and had everything you needed for a night. The TV/DVD was a brilliant idea and we were able to chill with a dvd and a few bottles of wine just like being in a hotel. The fridge was small but for one night held everything we needed. The kettle and micro also great and makes glamping fun! We took all our usual basic things we would have for camping.
The shower/toilet block was clean, although we didn't use them.
Being in the microlodge we felt as though we were away from what was a busy campsite. The tents were just in a large field. The microlodge offered more privacy. We would def stay here again in one of these.
The site itself is in the middle of a housing estate and quite difficult to find. There is a large Tesco/Petrol near by and the centre of Perth is not far to drive in to.

Was here for a 1 night stay at the end of the month with friends in their 8 man tent.
Friendly enough welcome though I don't think we saw anyone offical about after we arrived and before we went away bar once or twice.
Facilties were ok from what I saw (didn't use the showers but had a looksee when I was in the block) Water pressure in the old block was fairly high at the time I was in (can be variable from what I heard from friends who we were with and have been before) so the floor was wet in the cubicle I used.
Soap and hand driers in all toilets which was nice.
Road noise from the A9 wasn't too intrusive though finding your way around the housing estate can be a little difficult if you don't have a map on hand.
Playground for the kids was decent enough with the variety of swings they have, the slide is a little difficult to get up to with little legs (though the adventurous 1 year old gave it a good go!)
Can't comment on the Paid-for entertainments as we didn't use them. Went to Scone Palace (£5. 50 per adult for the grounds only, kids were free) and can totally recommend it for getting lost in the maze and the adventure play park especially the zipwire slide/swing.
And also went swimming at the Leisure Pool, being a sunday morning it got a bit crowded towards lunchtime.
