I would just like to reiterate what reviewers have said from last year, just incase anyone was wondering if site was still as good! Toilets/showers excellent (and free!), plenty of hot water! Magazines and sweets, nice touch. Dog walk ideal, we stayed on a wet and windy weekend and gravel path was great as you didn't get muddy. We visited village of Lacock and Marlborough which were both very nice - Whitehall Garden Centre at Lacock worth a visit, has a nice cafe and good for passing a rainy afternoon. Only downside for me was the road noise, not sure if it was the main 'A' road which is close by or the M4 - but it meant I didn't get much sleep - although it didn't bother my husband! All in all, an excellent site which we definitely visit again.

However I appreciate the comments made and will do my best to ensure that the details are added to any other web listings that we know about.

As most of the other reviews - excellent, clean, friendly, etc.
£16 / night for campervan, 2 adults + hook-up.
Just wanted to add - they only seem to take people who've booked in advance - 2 units were turned away while we were there who turned up on spec - they were told the site was full (when it wasn't) - the lady in reception said that they only take advance bookings - 'just our little way'. That's fine - if you know about it - hence this note.

This was our very first trip away in our new Conway Challenger and we were delighted! The site was immaculate, we were able to choose our pitch and were given all the help we needed as new campers. The site was quiet, well lit at night and we felt comfortable and rested. The toilet block was wonderful, spotless, plenty of hot water in the showers & a washbasin cubicle as well, even a basket of sweeties & plenty of magazines at hand. There was no shop on site but a supermarket is close by, we didn't eat out but there was a pub nearby too. We shall return for sure, we have been spoiled now & will measure everywhere else against Plough Lane!

The site was very good, the best site that we have visited. The toilets were 5 star. The site was quiet, the pitches were large giving you ample room for the caravan, awning and car with plenty of space between you and the next van. The owners Helen and Roger were friendly and helpful. The information board outside the reception was also very helpful giving information on the weather and the surrounding area. The site is ideally situated for Bath, Swindon, Cotswolds to name a few. The site is easy to get to from the motorway with no narrow lanes to go down. We will definitely return.

Just spent two nights here at short notice. Just what the doctor ordered- peaceful and spotlessly clean. The site is easy to get to and well sign posted from all directions. Individual pitches are large and well laid out, some being fully serviced. The site itself is beautifully planted with stunning displays of roses and flowering shrubs. Great enclosed dog walk with a circular path. There are no provisisons at the site but this is no problem as a selection of shops and supermarkets are close at hand. Local pub provided good food but we felt a little expensive. The toilets and showers were roomy and immaculate. we were content to sit by our unit and chill out so can't comment on surrounding area but there was plenty of information and a handy notice board by the reception desk. will definitely visit again and would recommend without hesitation.

Lovely peaceful site. Toilet and shower block spotlessly clean at all times, the showers are very spacious and hot water plentiful. A great dog walk with a pebbled path so you don't get your feet wet. Pitches very large and nicely laid out, some fully serviced. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pub within easy walking distance, selling good food. A great site all round,we shall be returning soon.

Our 1st time to an adults only site, we even left the dog at home. bliss ! A beautiful site and soooo quite, no children screaming,no loud music or televisons just great respect by everyone for everyone here. 1st class shower blocks, exceptionally clean site, great pitches. And the owners are so helpful and do their best to answer any questions on places to see or try to help with problems you may have etc. The only draw back was that as we had a motor-home and did not want to drive everywhere, we had to go by bus (just outside campsite) but the last bus back from chippenham left at 5.45pm so unless you got taxi's home then you had to come back early.not the sites problem but just one that that happens if you want to not drive. Will definitely book again though. Freda & Dave Bird

This site is immaculate, lovely tidy pretty pitches, shrubs and plants, nice grassy bits to put your tables and chairs on etc. A medium sized dog walk with stone path. The showers one of the cleanest Ive seen, in the ladies there were fresh flowers, complimentary soap, magazines and even a basket of sweets next to the sinks! The only downfall of this site is the road noise, I honestly could not believe the road the site was next to was only going to Chippenham.the road was constantly busy, loud and noisy till way past 11pm each night, you'd think we were pitched next to the M25 not a road in the Wiltshire countryside! I would use the site as a stopover (ie - if someone was going to Devon/Cornwall) We enjoyed the site, just wouldnt chose it for a holiday location.

As previously said this is an immaculate kept and very pretty site. The cost was £36 for the 3 nights we where there this is an all inclusive price for your unit awning and hook up, the only other fee is a refundable £10 deposit for the gate entry electronic pass key
I cant fault this site in anyway, toilets are as the grounds immaculate and well kept. They even provide a few books magazines there for those that wish to read while they...... erm cough... wait !!!
The reception also has a vast amount of pamphlets and tourist information along with a handy booklet with useful information regarding markets, shop opening times and suggestions for places to visit, along with the local Caravan dealers and even a mobile caravan repair service.
The owners where always around or could be reached at any time by knocking on their door. It was a real pleasure staying there and would have no hesitation in going there again
