The campsite is extremely well kept and the owners work hard to maintain all facilities which are spotless but what a shame about the traffic noise. Our main quest when seeking out a site is peace and quiet, it wasn't available here sadly and the noise continued well into the early hours.
We think adjustment of the arrival/departure times would work better: Dep. 11pm- Arr. 12pm. , 1pm seems very late for C. C. Members, we would have happily paid the fiver for early arrivals but it wasn't available to us.
We also felt rather than the free shower gel and other goodies we would much rather had, had control of the shower water temperature which was much too hot with no means of turning in down.

Clean and tidy, Showers and toilets were second to none.
The site has a nice secured dog walking area.
Site is well located for many towns and villages

We had a lovely stay on this immaculate site last weekend, we were very impressed!
The friendly and warm welcome we had on arrival was the best we have had. We really can't say enough lovely things about this site and its hosts.
We would recommend Plough Lane caravan park to anyone that enjoys the best of everything when caravanning. You won't be disappointed!
We will be back!

Just back from a very pleasant 3 night stay. A lovely site, with spacious pitches and none of that 'crowded- in' feeling you find at some sites.
There's a very friendly welcome from the hosts, who have obviously put a great deal of thought into the welcome pack you get on arrival. We particularly liked the dog friendly advice section. Nice touch, as so many campers have dogs.
The facilities are clean and nicely appointed with some, again, thoughtful touches.
Morrisons is very close by and you can even pop and get a nice Costa to go with your breakfast and the morning papers at the garage - couple of minutes drive. There is a new but quite small Waitrose in Chippenham, again only a couple of minutes drive away.
We did not visit any of the local eateries, but there are plenty to choose from.
There is slight traffic rumble but there aren't that many places in England where there isn't. And it's pretty silent at night.
All of the above means we'll definitely be back!

You only have to read the reviews to see what a tremendous site this is. Everything is 5 star from the superb size pitches through to the immaculately clean facilities that even include shampoo and shower gel.
Shops etc within easy driving distance and top quality pub within 5 minutes walk. Security on site is also excellent with a keycard controlled barrier.
I really do defy anyone to find fault with this peaceful haven. Don't just take my word for it. Get booking and enjoy a top quality site.

Stopped of here for two nights enroute to Cornwall. As others have said it is very easy to find and well signposted of the A350, just follow the brown information signs.
We had a service pitch and everything was fine.
Good site, large pitches, TV reception a bit hit and miss.
Nice facilities, showers warm, piped music in shower block.
They have a selection of DVD, s in the reception if you have a DVD player. Lacock about 10-15 mins away, morrisons 5 mins away.
Nice walks in the woods up the lane

Totally agree with other reviewers a superb site. All pitches are spacious with a grass area to the side with 16 amp hook-up and half are all service pitches.
The toilet & shower block is the best we have ever seen no wonder it has won 'loo of the year' awards. Lots of little extras are supplied e. G. Aftershave and always spotlessly clean. The only thing I was not to keen on was the 'piped music' but that is just a personally view and hey who cares!
Arrival at the site is a pleasant experience and Roger even reversed our caravan onto the pitch for us which was very nice after a long journey. Also this site has a security barrier with card entry (£10 deposit which is returned on leaving), which is not common on UK sites and should be, other sites please note.
Nice pub The Plough Inn across the dual carriage way which we would recommend and there is a lot to see and do in the area. We are keen cyclists and would recommend the Kennet & Avon Canal, Caen Hill locks are simply amazing.
Yes there is road noise from the dual carriage way but we did not find it obtrusive.

What a fantastic site. Very easy to find, just off junction 17 of the M4. Pitches well spaced out on hard standing with a grass area at the side. Toilet & shower block was superb with piped music & shower gel & lotion available & always spotlessly clean.
Good pub within walking distance, also a nice walk in woods just a short walk away from site which our dogs loved.
We visited lots of villages in the Cotswolds and also Laycock & Castle Combe which are about 10 mins drive from site.
Morrisons a few minutes drive away.
Adults only site, which we prefer, it was lovely and peaceful. Will definitely be going back and would definitely recommend.

What a super site, probably the friendliest site we’ve stayed on so far and that applies to both Roger and Helen and the other campers. Roger could not do enough to help, guided me onto the pitch and even offered to help unhitch.
Friendly Pub a couple of minutes walk down the road with good beer and food. Peaceful, quiet, immaculately kept site and easy to reach. Just what it said on the tin! The only problem – we left it late to book so could only stay for half the week.
Looking forward to visiting again.

Very pleasant site, owners helpful on arrival but make sure you don't arrive early, good toilet and showers if limited in numbers, only two showers.
Good pitches with tree and shrub edging, all service pitches very good.
Not many local shops, ie, more than a short walk, but plenty of good shops and local farm shop within 5 minutes drive.
Good pub at the end of the road serving good food.
Main road close by gives quite a lot of traffic noise especially during early morning period when it is otherwise quiet.
Check in/out very easy and good access to all major roads locally.
