Lovely clean site with large hard standing pitches, loads of room and nicely kept hedges between pitches for privacy. Toilet block very clean, liked the touch of toilet seat wipes in each cubicle and fresh eggs available from reception. Will definitely be returning to explore the woodland walks even further.

Very clean site. Children's play area in view of tents ideal to sit and relax and let the kids just play. Great laundry room. The wash area for the pots is always clean with a dish cloth for you to clean up your mess. Always has hot water. The showers are good with constant hot water. What more can I say, well worth our 2 weeks stay, very happy. A good few shops in Fordinbridge. Good take away food, not sure about the pubs as never went in any. Good Co-Op food shop.

Being one the older lot, we found it a very nice quite site, extremely clean. The gravel pitches and pathways were a godsend in the 'lovely summer weather we have been having. Would have been nice if they had kept supplies of a few basics in reception, as shops and pubs were more than a good walk away, and the narrow lanes around made walking and cycling very unsafe.

We visited the site in September for a long weekend. Not great weather! Lovely site, nicely kept and the pitches very private compared to other sites, the hedges dividing the pitches make the pitch feel private. We like the peaceful surroundings and it was nice to have walks so close for the dogs. The children liked the site too and even attempted a bit of fishing with their dad in the small lakes on site.
Not as expensive as other sites and we were grateful that we did not have to pay to set up our toilet tent, which was handy for the children during the night - there is no lighting apart from around the amenities block. A lot of sites will not allow you to erect the toilet tent!
We decided to stay at the site for our main holiday this year in August as we liked it that much.

Nice site. Facilities good. We had electric hook up. Too expensive though. Cost us £14 per night plus £2 per night extra because we have an awning. Now I am fairly new to caravanning, but of all the sites we have been to before we have never had to pay for the awning, maybe extra for a gazebo, but not the awning. We were in the rally field because friends of ours were in a tent. The pitch we had was not level either but this is the sort of thing you expect when you go in a rally field, but you also expect the price to reflect this as well. There are other hard standing / gravel pitches in another part of the site which look nice and worth paying the money for. I thought the cost was very expensive for our location. Will not be returning.

Beautifully kept site with immaculate shower block and all pitches on gravel. Ideal if you want a quiet site - not so good if you have young children who would like to be able to run free. Most units stay in situ for the summer there's only a few pitches for tourers. More suited to older campers we felt. Lovely pitch with hook up and water nicely set out not too crowded. Waste water has to be taken up to shower block but it's all gravelled so no need to get muddy at all. Itemised charges for awning/dog/extra car/guests - can work out quite expensive for a weekend.
They also have a couple of lakes/ponds for fishing. Wardens on site. Easy reach of a woods but quite a long walk to the nearest pub which looked as though it needed a facelift. Short drive to Fordingbridge which has a Co-op and several other shops.Next to fields of horses. There's a rally field too with hook ups. They also have gas bottles for sale on site if you run out.
