Took our newly acquired motor-home for it's maiden voyage to Church View camp-site and were greeted by the owners. They couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful. Thank you very much. The camp-site was very quite and accessible to walks along the cliffs and the local pub, very close to Horn-sea, Beverley and Mappleton where my husband went Para-gliding off the cliffs. If I have a criticism it would be there needs to be a block for a toilet and maybe somewhere for campers to do the washing up especially if they have children. We will return if we are that way again.

A lovely small and peaceful site in a great location. The owners are very friendly and helpful - they even gave us some fresh eggs laid by the chickens on the site. The facilities are basic and the site is very clean and well kept, if you want a peaceful getaway this is a great site. The pub is less than a five minute walk and serves good quality food and beer.

Could not have picked a better site for our first trip with our three grandchildren. We have never owned a caravan before. The site was peaceful. On the edge of a beautiful village, there was plenty of nice walks. The site owners were friendly and helpful, giving us help to put up our awning and also providing a foot ball for the children to play with. Will definitely be going back.

Just spent an idyllic weekend at this sheltered and well-kept campsite. We wanted a site fairly near to try out our new (second-hand) caravan and Church View campsite was perfect for this.
We received a very warm welcome from Ian and Sally, the owners, and they even made us cups of tea when we failed to get our gas and water to work.
The campsite's simple facilities were clean and well-kept and the site is peaceful and sheltered, with only the occasional sounds of the rather lovely little black hens and the wind in the trees for company.
A five minute walk through the pretty village, past the horses and the foal, takes you to the Black Horse pub where we had two roast dinners (delicious, at £6. 25 each). (Our excuse was we still didn't have any gas). Then a further ten minute stroll takes you to the cliff edge with views up the coast of Flamborough Head and Bridlington and the s tart of the coastal path to Hornsea.
We will certainly return. A little bit of heaven.

A perfect location to escape to after a hectic working week.
The owners are very welcoming. The site overlooks the village Church next door and is set back in a peaceful, secluded location near to Beverley and Hornsea for lots to see and do.
It is a very tidy, private site which seems like a million miles away from hustle and bustle with a lovely variety of chickens for company. It is a five minute walk to the village pub, The Black Horse, where we sampled Friday night steaks with all the trimmings which were delicious (and good value at 2 for £12. 95).
Ten minutes walk with our dogs took us to an almost deserted beach or enjoy a quiet stroll down the country lane round the back of the village. A longer walk (or short drive) will get you to Mr Moo's Ice cream Parlour, delicious!
We will definitely return to this little bit of paradise.
