Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The site is easy to get to. There is a pub down the road which serves good meals.
The only thing that was a problem for us was that even though it is a CS and should only have 5 caravans for the majority of the time we were there the site had 7 caravans, 1 motorhome and 5 tents.
This meant it was, in my opinion overcrowded and noisy, which was a shame.

This was our returning visit after a glorious 3 night stay last year. We booked for 6 nights, it was amazingly peaceful, site was immaculate.
For the price the facilities are excellent although 1 shower out of use was a slight issue. I cannot fault this site and its owners.
It is an absolute pleasure to visit

Lovely quiet little campsite. Toilets and shower kept nice and clean. Good sized electric pitch.
We stayed over the bank holiday weekend. Not far to travel to the coast, Bridlington, Scarborough etc.
Excellent value for money, the owners were very friendly. Will definitely return.

What a truly amazing little site. The peace and tranquillity is to die for. Facilities are top notch and the hosts are amazingly friendly.
We are here for 3 nights but have booked a week next year already.
This site restores faith in the business of providing excellent facilities at a fair and reasonable price. So looking forward to returning.

Fairly easy access even for a large unit as long as you don’t meet a vehicle coming the opposite way! Advertised as a certified CC site so not expecting great luxuries, however, stated as two showers and toilets.
At the time of our visit only one shower worked and the toilet door on one cubicle didn’t shut properly and couldn’t be locked. If it’s advertised as such get it working!
Toilet block had obviously been done on a budget. Hole in the wall for a fan with the fibreglass insulation clearly not covered. I wouldn’t like that stuff on my skin if the wind blows?! Toilets were particularly cramped and claustrophobic. Whole block needs knocking down and starting again.
Light and doors left open at night inviting the local insect population in too. No covered washing up facilities so you have to pick your time in between showers if it’s raining. Hot water is available from the owners house but not from the washing sink which again isn’t ideal either.
All in all most of the facilities are not fit for purpose. Other campers had told us that they had stayed before and the owner had ideas of improving things but obviously got no further than that. On the positive side if you want peace and quiet it’s ok.
Pub down the road within walking distance also serves basic pub grub. Not the most welcoming of greetings but we only went once.

Had a brilliant 8 night stay here. It's very relaxed and peaceful. Clean toilet and showers. There is a nice walk along the lane to the Black Bull pub that serves food every day, it also has a beer garden.
We will be going back again in August for 6 night. The owners Sally and Ian are lovely and are very helpful.
Even my dog was relaxed here and the only sounds I heard was birds, just what I wanted

We have just returned from 9 days spent here with our caravan. It is a little gem of a site, an oasis of peace and quiet with around 15 pitches a combination of tents and tourers. Its clean and well kept and Dog friendly with electric hook up showers and toilet Free Wifi.
The owners are lovely people always very helpful, friendly and approachable. The site is within easy travel of Hornsea (2 miles), Bridlington (15 miles) and Filey (20 miles) Withernsea (20 miles).
Its everything you need for a peaceful break and to recharge your batteries. We loved so much we have booked to return for another weeks holiday in about 3 weeks time.

Just returned from a 5 night stay at Church View Camp Site. On arrival, we received a friendly welcome from the owners who showed us to our pitch and were very attentive throughout our stay.
The site is small and friendly in a rural location. The toilet and shower facilities were clean and readily available. Unfortunately, our car broke down during our stay and the owners couldn't have been more helpful.
We will definitely be making a return visit. Our two children were devastated that they had to leave!

Once again we visited Church View and had a really relaxing time, Sally is an excellent host and nothing is too much trouble.
This is the second time we have stayed and we enjoyed every minute, we are looking forward to going again.
