Arrived at this wonderful site on Bank Holiday Monday and immediately felt at home. The welcome we received from Sally was so warm and friendly that it felt like we were returning visitors. We certainly will be in the future.
The site itself is kept immaculately clean and tidy, and is in a lovely peaceful location.
The whole experience of camping on this site was fantastic but it was the warmth and friendliness of the owners that made it truly exceptional.

This is a small site, we received a very warm welcome from Sally and Ian,
A very friendly site, had all the things that you would need for camping/caravanning and the price was right, facilities were always kept very clean and tidy,
I would recommend this site to all and give it 5 stars out of 5, we are looking forward to returning later on this year.

We were very fortunate to be able to stay in our daughter's family caravan on this site. We do hope she will lend us the van on this site again.
It is small, friendly, clean and well run.

We visited Church View during May. Sally and Ian made us feel most welcome, even lending us their air compressor when our tyre started to deflate. My child had new shoes while we were staying at Church View Sally asked my daughter to go and shoe her shoes off to her at a time convenient to us. Of course my daughter was only too pleased to do this.
The facilities consist of one shower, one toilet and one sink. These were very clean, however, occasionally we had to wait to use them, which wasn't really a big issue considering we had facilities in our caravan.
We stayed a an extra night and have already booked to stay at Church View again, which I think is a true statement of how lovely the site is and how lovely the owners are.

Five of us (3 girls 9, 10, 12 and two Dads) stayed for two nights at Church View campsite at the end of May and had a great time. The campsite is on the edge of the village of Atwick down a small lane and is therefore very quiet.
The surrounding hedges and trees also make sure the campsite is very sheltered from the wind. We received a lovely reception from the owners when we arrived they showed us the amenities and then they left us to sort ourselves out.
The campsite is small which we liked and has about 12 pitches, and one toilet and one shower which was enough even when the campsite was full. The shower, toilet and wash basin looked like it was new this season, and were very clean. There is no children's play area but the kids had a great time riding their bikes around the campsite and up and down the very quiet country roads.
The village is very pretty and the local pub is only a short walk from the campsite, about 5 minutes. The beach is about another 5 - 10 minute walk and an exciting scramble down the cliff. The beach is beautiful sand and stretches for miles and was incredibly clean. There is also a good walk along the cliff top.
We would all definitely go again mostly because of the very friendly owners.

We have just spent a lovely weekend glamping in the bell tent at church view campsite.
What a fantastic experience! Sally and Ian are brilliant hosts, they showed us round the site so we knew where everything was and they are very knowledgeable about the local area.
The bell tent itself is amazing! It consists of a very comfy double bed, a futon, two bean bags and four camping chairs - more than enough seating options!
Sally and Ian have equipped it very well with a refrigerated cool box, a kettle and all the kitchen equipment required for camping.
No camping experience would be complete without a BBQ; glampers at church view campsite get exclusive access to a gas BBQ along with very helpful instructions on how to use it!
I would recommend this campsite for anyone looking for a relaxing break which is near enough to the towns of Hornsea, Bridlington, Beverley and Hull.
Thank you Sally and Ian for your hospitality, we hope to be back soon :)

We were looking for a last minute site at the weekend. Sally replied very quickly to my email and told us she had a pitch.
First impressions, very warm welcome from Sally and we were shown to our pitch. It's about the size of a football pitch behind the houses. Lovely grass and a functional wash and shower block.
Very quiet and good access to Hornsea and the beach. A really good location and we would use again. Very good price and really nice place.

We visited this camp site and was presently surprised as it was a last min decision and didn't think we would have got anything else and as the price was such a fantastic price at £14 a night with hook up. The camp site is spaces and your own pitch size is brilliant. Plenty space. They have brand new shower block with 2 showers 2 toilets, and 2 wash hand basin and as it was brand new the second unit was not opened yet but will be very soon. As my caravan doesn't have a shower in it its important to us to have a shower /toilet block. So all in all it was brilliant. The owners were very helpful. The village was lovely with its pub never got the chance to visit this time but next time. I only have 2 negative from me was there was a smell that drifted over ever now and then not sure what it was either the waste /or farmers fields. Was a little off-putting and the shower block even though its brand new I personally would prefer your shower unit and toilet to be enclosed, not sure if that makes sense but this is what I mean when you are having a shower someone else can be using the toilet with only a hardwood wall separating you. Saying all that I will most certainly be going back. The location was very good. Bonnylas

The wife and myself have just spent a wonderful long weekend on this site. The owners are very friendly. A lovely location and when the new toilet and shower block is complete, which will not be long, it will be ideal for camping also. Will be returning very soon
