Brilliant small site. Very quiet with clean facilities. Local pub a 5 minute walk away.
Hornsea a 10 min drive away with a large Tesco's for supplies.
There are lots of campsites around but I would certainly recommend Churchview.

Lovely peaceful, friendly site.
Well located to access the many activities in the area.
Local pub provided reasonable Pub food given the circumstances and Five Bites delivery Hornsea very good too.
Only 1 shower was operating which caused a bit of a queue first thing but other than that, facilities were kept clean and were perfectly adequate.

This is an excellent small site with shrubs and fencing providing great shelter from any coastal breezes. Very warm welcome and shown to our pitch, making sure we had all we needed for our stay.
Location is good as only a few minutes walk from the village centre and its pub with the coast path being only a further 5 minutes walk away.
Start of the trans pennine cycle route in Hornsea is approx 2 miles from the site and can be done on very quiet country-style single track lanes.
Due to current conornavirus issues we chose not to use the sites facilities, but to use our own therefore not able to make comments about these.
Highly recommended.

First time on this site and hopefully it won't be our last
All I can say is it's absolutely beautiful and relaxing
The owners Ian and Sally are on hand when ever you need them could not wish for a nicer couple
If you need somewhere to unwind and relax this is the place

We live locally and had recently changed our caravan, we wanted to stay local to try the new (to us) van which came with a blow up awning, new to us!
The owner Ian was really friendly and very helpful - they are following the Covid 19 guidance and we were very impressed with their running of the site in difficult times.
We have three small dogs who were very welcome - the site was a lovely size not too big and we found everyone really pleasant and if we are honest we would have loved to stay longer but had to get back to work.
Highly recommend this site, quiet and close to Hornsea and other local towns - definitely one of the nicest sites we have been on and very reasonable rates.

Firstly the site location and the value for money are very good. We travelled as two families with 5 adults and 4 children ranging from 7 to 12 years.
The problems started on arrival when the less than friendly owner accused us of only paying for one pitch despite clearly paying for two pitches. He didn't even seem to be aware of our two family booking despite several emails and phonecalls we were not sent any terms or conditions before we arrived. He was worried about our tent size, but they were the same size as the other tents on the pitches. We clearly felt off to a bad start with the male owner as he was unfriendly from there on.
There was only one! working shower for the whole campsite which had at least 14 adults and 8 children the shower was often cold by the time you managed to get a shower. The washing up water was cold all the time being turned off around 6pm until 10am in the morning so had to boil a kettle to wash up. So the facilities whilst clean are basic at best.
What annoyed me the most was the owner complained about our older children (the 12 year olds) he threatened us they had done damage to his shower block and we would have to pay which I checked and took photos of as they had not doner anything. I have been on many sites with rowdy families and we certainly are not one of those families we were all in bed by 10. 30 had no music, not drinking, etc but he was horrible and made us out to be bad parents becuase our older children were stood with their phones by the toilet block hardly a crime. They did not do anything wrong he just did not like us from the get go.
So if you have older children avoid this site as it will not be for you if you kids do not want to be in bed by 8pm. If you like hot water also avoid as not for you either you will be lucky to get any. If you have your own facilities and like to go to bed at 8pm then great go for it.
That said the owners wife was lovely and not judgemental at all shame I will not return as a beautiful spot I have never been made to feel like this and we camp all the time.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Wanted to extend but unfortunately fully booked up.

My wife and I have been coming to Church View camp site 4 or 5 times a year. Just brilliant.
Very quiet and secluded, owners Ian and Sally are very very friendly you are always treated like one of the family.
Great pub down the road with good food and good ales.
Keep up the good work Sally and Ian.
