Just spent bank holiday weekend here we had a great time the children loved it we pitched by the horses and the views where lovely of the hills the children loved seeing the farm animals and playing in the small play area. The staff where friendly there where some nice pubs near by (the ship and the golf club) you couldnt book so I went early friday on my own with a 6 and 7 year old and a 10 month old baby
(I would just like to thank the couple who came and helped me put up the tent) my husband followed us down on friday night. The site got really busy and people where putting there tents up all over the field which made driving of the site very difficult the site was very basic but clean
We thought the site was a bit over priced for what it had but saying that we would go back again

Stayed at Dinarth May Bank holiday weekend, 3 families (6 adults and 7 kids) and was not over impressed.
Bad Points:-
- The site states they don't take bookings however when we arrived, half of the camping field was 'reserved'
- We were charged full childrens fee for an 11 month old baby.
- No order over where tents were pitched, some were within inches of each other.
- Toilet block was basic, no soap
- Water in the pot wash was cold
Good Points
- Showers were free and the cubicals very spacious

We stayed her for 10 days. The showers were not as basic as we were lead to believe, plenty of room to keep clothes dry, we didnt have to queue once and there's even a stool in each to sit or put things on. The toilets were kept clean despite rain. The views are terrific and the staff friendly. Will go again

At short notice we decided on Saturday that we wanted to go camping on the bank holiday Sunday. After looking into lots of campsites, this was the only one with space available which made me quite dubious. Things started to look up when we drove into Rhos which is really pretty it has a lovely pub called The Ship which has a nice beer garden, games room with pool table. It is dog friendly allowing them both in and out, There is a beautiful church which is perched on the hillside. There is a garage which sells most things you could need - from here the campsite is literally a 5 - 10 min walk. As you travel up the drive to Dinarth Hall there are horses and cows in the fields. You drive through the working farm and down to the field where you will pitch your tent. A huge bonus was having the choice of where to pitch your tent so you can pick a private and quiet spot. We set up our tent by the stream at the bottom over looking a field with two friendly horses grazing (a lovely view to wake up to) By this point I was very pleased we had ended up here. There are plenty of toilets (I was happy to see the plug sockets) they are basic but are kept clean. Bit short of the number of showers which are unisex they are again kept clean. The block is situated right at the top through farm but if you don't fancy the walk you can always drive up. They allow same sex groups but we didn't see anyone causing any trouble or being loud, it was nice to see people around of all ages and the staff do patrols of the grounds regularly. Rhos on Sea is a lovely coastal town - not to busy even for a bank holiday weekend. There are couple of stands serving snacks etc. It has three or four pubs all serving food, also a few restaurants so enough to choose from if you want to get away from the campsite. It is about a two mile walk to beech which was okay and not over run with people, there was a beech where you can take your dog onto which was brilliant. All in all we had a great time and would recommend this campsite. To anyone else!

Arrived at the site lunchtime, there was plenty of space to pitch the tent. The site was fine, flat with lovely views but exposed. By early evening the field was almost full. The showers were located near reception which meant going through the farm to get to them. They were very basic, could do with a little renovation but were usable. The toilet block was nearer to the field and again was basic and not too clean. The site accepts groups of lads/girls which meant there was some noise/music but not much of a problem. There were some shops and pubs nearby and only a very short distance from Llandudno. We would go back again for a long weekend.

This is a great site close to all the relevant amenities and 2 good pubs nearby. You can sometimes get rowdy groups on site but not to the extent of it being much of a problem, any that get out of hand are soon ejected! The site is fairly level and the grass neatly trimmed. The facilities on site are basic but clean and more than adequate for a long weekend. Am leaving my tent behind now as have upgraded to a trailer tent but the tenting field is a good size but very exposed.

We found this site at 11 pm on a bank holiday weekend we had been driving since 4pm looking for somewhere. We drove straight on to the tent field and pitched our two tents we had a lot of space and it was level. We could have been anywhere it was very dark at this stage There was a lot of people still setting up. There was noise but what do you expect it is a tent field , everybody is outside not in a caravan
In the morning we had a lovely view and was quite pleased with the field The toilets are basic but clean and are close to the tent field and not the caravans for a change the showers are at the front of the site and cost 50p the same again clean but basic
This site is good if you want to sit out and have a drink with your friends there is also two pubs not far away that serve good for and are not to expensive there are also quite a few shops in walking distance

This was our first ever camping trip and it was like something from The Griswalds go Camping .... however, the camp site was really quite good, if a little basic.
We aree a family of seven and one dog. Two adults, five kids ranging from 10 down to 1 years old). I like home comforts to an extent but the fact that I forgot the electric hookup still didn't spoil anything. (What did was the missing tent pegs and guy ropes - another story).
Anyway, the campsite is actually on the grounds of a farm complete with big hall. When we arrived we paid a very reasonable £13.75 per night for all of us plus dog, and were told to pitch where we wanted. There is a small stream running alongside the field we went in and also a field full of ponies behind us. We were in the field marked Tents but the field next to us was for caravans. The field was level and there was plenty of room for a multitude of tents and still room to play cricket. We went on the Thursday before Bank Holiday Monday so expected the place to be overcrowded, happily, the owners just opened another field and that seemed to solve any would be problems regarding this.
The toilet blocks were basic but usually clean and fully stocked, however, on one trip to the loo there was no toilet roll in anyone of the twelve toilets. The owners were told and they sorted this out very quickly In the same location is the washing up sink, which I never had to queue for. For the girls, like myself, who like the old hair straighteners, there are electric sockets in the toilets which you can use for a small fee of 50p. (This gave me a good 20 mins of electric).
Next to the toilet blocks were the laundrette, which seemed fine and across the farmyard, next to the recepetion were the showers, which were fully functional, clean and they also had hairdryers.
The kids had a great time "on the farm" and there is also a small children's play area next to the caravan park. Water taps are plentiful around the parameter of the field we stayed in.
If there was one problem, there has to be one, it was the noise level in the early hours. There is a policy of No Noise after 11 but this was not the case. On my first night there was a trio of lads laughing, joking, etc until at least 2.30am and then on the following night not only were the trio back in force but a much larger family too. They partied hard until 4.30am,totally oblivious to the fact that there were other people, including kiddies, around trying to get a little sleep. We were okay about this really, as it was the bank holiday weekend and if you can't have a laugh on your hols, when can you - a few other families didn't agree with me and reported the said people to the owners only to be told "don't tell me - tell the police - don't be getting me up at that time". Hmmmmmmm, luckily though the other two nights passed fairly peacefully and we did get our own back by telling our little darlings that it was definitely okay to play around some of the tents at half past six in the morning!!!
All in all, I would go back here but only for a short haul hol.

We turned up ‘on spec’ and received a friendly welcome from this family-run site. Don’t be too fooled by the name, it is most certainly a farm rather than a hall! The reception is housed in an old static caravan at the entrance to the site and we were asked to find a space on the tent field before we committed ourselves to paying. I found there to be plenty of room, but it impressed me that the owners were taking care to prevent over-crowding. The shower block is at the very entrance to the site and then a short walk through the farm proper (avoiding cow-pats) leads you to the tent field and caravan field. The caravan field is lit and has a couple of flower beds whereas the tent field is simply that. All the caravans get hook-ups, but there are very few for the tents, so well worth booking early if you need one.
The view of the surrounding countryside from the fields is quite spectacular as you are nestled between about seven hills. Despite being so close to the coast there is no sea view though.
The site is very, very, very basic so don’t expect any whistles and bells here. The showers and toilets were clean but we still didn’t look forward to using them. The showers were free but the water temperature was too hot for young children. The shower cubicles are unisex. The children’s play area was so dilapidated that I kept it secret from my kids; quite easy as it was tucked away behind the caravan field. There is a laundry on site but no shop. Thankfully there are shops and take-aways only a short distance away.
The big downside to our stay was the noise from other campers. Vehicles were driven around the site late at night. There were 3 separate groups (young and old) having party’s until the early hours. In the morning there were bottles strewn on the grass. Although the site rules are strict, they are not enforced.
Rhos-on-sea and Llandudno are close by and are jewels on the North Wales coast. Rhos-on-sea has sandy beaches and a lovely ice cream parlour whilst the beaches at Llandudno are pebbly with the Great Orme being worth a visit for the views alone.
