Our visit was at the end of the April, it was my daughters 1st trip camping at 2 1/2 yrs and she was chuffed to see all the farm animals and tractors etc. As we are all from farming backgrounds so made her feel at ease,
As we knew nothing about the site, just turned up and managed to pitch despite how busy it was.
The site itself is stunning, stone cottages around in the hills. Horses hacking through the camp. Very picturesque.
Showers clean and hot, we were very pleased and are planning our next visit in four weeks

We have stayed numerous times this year and are planning spending the bank holiday there.
The wash room/loos and showers are basic but clean and always lots of hot water. Not a bad walk about 100 yrds away, showers a little further but are quite big with a stool and hooks to keep things dry. The showers are mixed but no one seems to worry. Huge tumble dryer is great after a day on the beach (40p for 8 bath towels that were quite wet)there is also an iron and board but we didn't use it. Washers also. Two dishes sinks in laundry room, one in cubical in ladies wash rooms. Lots of fresh water taps around the site, step back though, the water pressure give you a soaking!
Lots of animals around so lovely for the kids. Sea gulls are a bit noisy in the morning but to be expected as close to the sea. Lots of young families, so kids are in and out saying hello, chatting and playing. Wouldnt recommend if you want a quiet break, we have no young children but don't mind the chatter and the odd stray football. There is a playground on the caravan field - word of mouth didn't personally see it.
Its quite a lively and busy site especially at weekends but is generally quiet after 11pm. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Young lad always comes down to say hello, and see if we need help (once we have pitched Ha Ha)Good flat field, electric pitches around the outside near fence line(sorry don't use one so don't know how many). Be careful of the dip in the field about halfway down, seen a few people caught out oops !
Short drive to Llandudno, Rhos on Sea and Colwyn all nice sea side towns and I believe a bus to all passes the campsite. Plenty of shops (Spar Garage is the closest, Lidl and Aldi further down the same road about a mile away)and a couple of pubs within walking distance.
All in all a good value family site in a lovely location. £14 per couple per night and we have never been charged extras for our jetski or large hilux(been charged up to 5 pounds on other sites)

We visited this site during the summer holidays, arriving on a Thursday and leaving on the Sunday. When we arrived we booked in and got told to pitch our tent on the large field, we could choose our own pitch which was really good and pitched next to the horses in the field which my daughter absolutely loved!. The field was level and the tent pitched easily, there was also quite a few water points which was good.
The first night we were here, there was a thunder and lightning storm and strong winds! when we got up we went to 'defrost' in the shower, the block is dated and unisex and separate from the toilets however is only a short walk through the yard and worth it, the block was clean and the showers warm and powerful the cubicles are quite large too, my daughter and I managed to get showered and dressed in the same cubical. The showers were free too.
The toilets are closer to the camping field and again a bit dated however they were clean and perfectly usable. There are plenty of toilets and sinks and never really busy.
The site filled up over the weekend with quite a few families arriving with 2/3 tents all pitched together. Although it got noisier it was nothing extreme just families enjoying themselves playing ball, cricket etc. There was also lots of people having fires in the barbeques which all added to the atmosphere. My daughter was a sleep in the tent by 9pm every evening so noise levels not extreme!
The site is about 5 minutes walk from a pub although quite steep hill on the way and the petrol station and shop are all on the same road.
We spent our days in llandudno (about 6 miles drive) and Rhyl (about 13 miles drive) We also went to a shopping mall just down the road with lots of little shops (pound shops etc) and also supermarkets indoors.
Over all we enjoyed our stay and will be returning again. The site is in the countryside surrounded by trees/farm animals and hills, however just down the road you have the beautiful seaside town of llandudno, a perfect location for a summer retreat!

My family and I stayed here weekend of the 19-22nd of August, and it is just a GREAT site.
Very well maintained and obviously well cared for, and rightly so, the setting is superb!
I suspect Steve has a lot to do with this, he seemed to be always on the go.
Lovely views of the hills and valleys of North Wales, perfectly situated between Colwyn bay to the right, and Llanduddno to the left, a real hidden jewel of a site.
As you drive into the farmyard, you would certainly not expect what awaits you 100 yards around the corner, it is akin to stepping through the wardrobe door, and suddenly appearing in Narnia.
The kids were safe here, and we were happy for them to play out until the light had gone, amongst the Horses and free roaming chickens etc.
Yes, this site could do with some updating of the facilities (Play area, shower block etc) but what they have, works adequately, and I get the overall impression that the people complaining about the facilities are the ones who want £200 a night facilities for 20 quid! (You know the ones).
Definitely a return to this site for us, and in the not too distant future, we are missing it already!
If you want a well cared for conveniently situated site for the N. Wales coastline, in a setting that looks like one of Gods personal sketches, then I heartily recommend Dinarth hall to you and your families, you will not be disappointed.

This has to be one of the most beautiful locations we have been to. Most of the comments relate to how nice the people running the site are. And they are. It is such a shame that the facilities let this site down. It is not the fact that you have to walk across a working farm yard with all that entails it is just that the showers and loos are in need of serious renovation. They are old, dark, dingy. The site is cheap at £16 a night for a van, electric and two people but with these views location and up to date facilities we would gladly have paid more.

This campsite was really nice.
I went with my son (5yrs), with this being his first camping trip I wanted to take him to a fairly decent site, rather than the 'basic' ones I normally go to.
I wasn't disappointed. Greeted by a very nice lady in her office/caravan. Very helpful on where to pitch.
Toilets were clean. Showers were also clean (although not that clear at first were they were).
With it being a working farm there a lots of cows and horses, which my boy loved looking at.
I'm not sure if there where any power points for the part time campers though.
Its a stones throw from a beach too.
I'll be going back there again. It is a nice site.

We booked this site very quickly on our day of departure without really doing much research. The location was fantastic - really near the coast and very easy to find.
The site itself was very pleasant indeed with good facilities (although a long walk through a farmyard to the free showers). However we were very upset by the noise level on the site. Car stereos were blaring out until very late at night and the main camping field was packed. We asked to move on to the overflow field and found it a bit quieter but we could still hear the loud music.
We also had the additional problem of cars speeding through the field late at night. Unfortunately we won't be returning to this site although we'll definitely return to North Wales.

Went to this site on recommendation from a friend very easy to get to and good wide road into the site make it easy whatever you tow.Its on a working farm and you book in at a large modern caravan by the gate where a friendly lady tells you where to go and where everything is.
Its a clean concrete road through the farm that leads you into the main site all caravans and tent pitches are all on grass and plenty of ehu if don't need ehu you can go into the big field and pitch where you want. Plenty of water taps but be aware the force of water is tremendous first time I use them I got drench by the force. The toilets are bit dated but spotlessly clean all painted in brilliant white paint with seven cubicles in the gent and stainless steel urinals??? and four wash hand basins shaver points and large mirrors. Plenty of hot water and paper and soap. There is also an elsan point and waste water point, washing up room with dryer and iron. To get to the showers you got to walk through the farm yard to the main entrance where there are five very powerful showers. Free and the cubicles are very big and as my wife is an invalid I could go in with her and help her which was a god send.
The area around is very pleasant, llandudno five minutes by car, rhos on sea, Colwyn bay, Conwy all within 10 min drive or less shops and pubs quite close.vI was very happy with this site and the cost was 14 pounds and two pounds for electric for the two of us and they did not charge for the awning I had. The site does get busy at weekends but Mon to Fri its very quiet. I been to sites with more modern facilities at a cost but these were a bit dated but very very clean so I was very happy as I felt I had my moneys worth and when I am in the area again I certainly go back

Stayed here at the end of July with our son and granddaughter and on the whole I was pleasantly surprised. The surrounding area is beautiful. Rhos is a great little place and Llandudno is excellent for shops and a great sea front.
Directions of site very good easy to find. Lots of free parking on the sea front. Plenty of good walking nearby. Whilst I agree with the friendliness of the site, the owners, plenty of hot water, large shower cubicles etc.
I do think a little bit more effort could be put into the children's play area and improving the drainage for the pitches alongside the fence between the tent and caravan field.
We were given a plot and could not understand why the middle was left virtually unused, but then realised that was mainly for motor homes and the 'weekenders'. If I remember correctly we had plot 51 - don't accept this pitch unless it there has been no rain for weeks. We only had one night and morning of rain (and then not heavy), went out and came back to a of an inch of water stood in the awning about two foot long! No - we do not expect miracles for sixteen quid a night (add two extra people and it is much more than that in a tourer with electric hook up), what we do expect is proper drainage.
overall it is a good site, just needs a bit of tlc to make it a very good site

We have been visiting this site for 6 years now and can only say that the unfavourable reviews must have been left by people who only went for a weekend or bank holiday when the site is very busy. It has been greatly improved due to a constant staff presence on site and the toilets are now cleaned daily, the rear gate is closed at nights to stop overnighters from sneeking on late at night.
The showers are always good due to free hot water and fantastic water pressure. The family have always done thier best to stop bad behaviour and have evicted the culprits the day after, now they get warned as they are making noise and it is usually enough to stop them.
The site itself is fantastic during the week, the views are second to none and the location for all local amenities and attractions is excellent. There are no high season prices and the site has a play area for children.
The farm is always a haven of activity with the new lambs and the horses and cows not to mention the chickens that roam. It is also great for birdwatching. I can honestly say its one of the best.
